Rare gorgeous RIVER FRONT home!
Beautiful private home with 700 ft of river frontage on 3 acres, between Glenwood Springs and Carbondale, and a short 30 min drive to Aspen or Snowmass. Spend time with family and friends at this cozy mountain retreat, with 5 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, sleeps 10.
Well appointed kitchen with open floor plan to the expansive living/dining room, with wood burning stone fireplace, grand piano, custom live edge dining table and sunroom, filled with beautiful plants and flowers. Large outside deck with propane fire pit.
Relax and rejuvenate from this beautiful, secluded, private and well appointed home, with over 3700 sq ft, 5 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, new mattresses and bamboo linens. There is tons of light from the many windows boasting full river views. The lower floor has an open floor plan, with fully stocked kitchen to cook all your gourmet meals with family and friends. Brand new appliances, island with 5 burner cooktop, Keurig coffee maker plus Cuisinart coffee pot and 4 bar stools. (If you are interested in hiring a private chef, we can give you recommendations). Powder room 1/2 bath is right off the kitchen area.
Watch the river flow by in the spacious living room with a cozy wood burning stone fireplace and 75" frame TV, displaying an array of fine art. The dining room has a custom live edge table, that seats up to 10, huge skylights plus a grand piano.
To complete the lower floor, there is a large family room, comfy down sectional couch, with a full size sofa sleeper, large 75" screen TV and a new ping pong table. Just off of this family room, is a room with french doors and a daybed trundle (2 twins). Perfect for the kids, with access to a full bathroom on this level, as well. In addition, there is a bedroom with a pull down queen murphy bed and beautiful desk and chair for all of your remote needs. Beautiful sunroom with lots of plants and flowers, facing the river, to enjoy your morning coffee, while watching the river float by.
On the upper level, there is a huge master suite, with brand new luxury king mattress (one side is firm, the other side is medium, so you can choose your comfort level!) plus small pull out desk and flat screen TV.
French doors open to views of the river and Mount Sopris.
The ensuite bathroom, has 2 sinks, tub/shower and bidet toilet.
There are two additional bedrooms upstairs, one with a king bed, and built in desk, the other with a queen bed, built in desk, TV and views of the river. There is a full bathroom, to be shared by these two bedrooms, with beautiful tiled walk in shower.
We have upgraded 1 gigabyte wifi, so everyone can be on their devices, zoom calls, etc with no problems. The cellular service is also great at this location. There are a total of 4 workspaces for all your work remote needs, plus an HP wireless printer. Sonos speakers throughout the house. All TV's are smart TV's, two have Apple TV. We also have a pack and play available.
There is a large outside deck facing the river, with a 6 person hot tub, outdoor couch, large propane fire pit and BBQ. Relax on one of the colorful Adirondack chairs, under the huge trees on the expansive front lawn and watch the rafters and wildlife go by. The 2 car garage, leads directly into the family room, with plenty of additional parking, as well.

Located at the confluence of the Colorado and Roaring Fork rivers, it provides an ideal setting for recreation. Outdoor activities will keep you and your family busy, including the famous Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, Iron Mountain Hot Springs, Glenwood Adventure Camp (with rides and attractions), Yampah Spa and Vapor Cave, cave tours, white water rafting, kayaking (from the house!), biking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, sledding, several golf courses, birdwatching and world class gold metal fishing (right from the house!).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful River House! It was exactly as described, clean, and offered plenty of room for our family to relax and enjoy the gorgeous outdoors. The sound of the river was peaceful and fun to watch people float by in their kayaks and paddle boards. There was a lot of indoor and outdoor games to play, an indoor ping pong table, and two separate living areas with large televisions. Each bedroom had a large television also. Seeing geese and other wildlife was an added bonus!

Sherry was always very repsonsive to all our questions.Our stay was from Feb 15-22. Our group myself, my wife, 3 grandsons 20,21, and 24 and a grandaughter 10. Our purpose was to get these southern boys out on snowboards, we went mon-fri with wed-fri being good conditions considering the lack of snow out west overall. We skiied at Sunlight Mountain, a great place for beginning skiiers and a third of the cost of Snowmass.Sherry's house is outstanding, located on the roaring fork river, would have been great fishing warm weather.The house has fully stocked kitchen, although we are by no means gourmet cooks. The living room has beautiful big windows with a view of the river and yard. Very relaxing to just sit in the room, also has a nice fireplace we used one evening. A grand piano for those with some musical talent. The dinning room area has a long table seating about 10 with skylights overhead to illuminate the area during the day.There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, a large master and 2 smaller bedrooms, on the mainfloor is another bedroom and a room with a daybed someone can sleep in.There is also a huge TV room with a large TV and sectional coach the boys made use of anytime they weren't at Sunlight mountain. There is also a nice hot tub that the boys were too tired to use, except the first night there. Since my wife no longer skiis she spent most of the days at the house along with my grandaughter when she didn't go skiing. They really enjoyed being at the house

Such a beautiful place. Secluded, yet 10 minutes from town from everything you need - groceries, dining, fishing supplies, and adventure gear. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Best Hot tub ever in a rental. Fishing right out the door, and hiking close by, too. My family loved it and we'll be back!
