We had a fantastic time! House is cozy and comfy and well stocked. Kevin was super responsive and everything was easy from check in to check out. The location was great 15 min from mountain. And the small downtown has great restaurants and shops.

The house is amazing - very clean, well stocked and TONS Of space. It is a bonus to find such a clean place that allows dogs!

We were happy to find a rental that allowed pets. Our dog had a wonderful time especially when it snowed . Thanksgiving holiday enjoyed by all.

Really enjoyed this nice cabin in vermont. Fantastic views from the deck and great firepit to enjoy the fall weather. Kevin was very responsive and accommodating.

If you want to get away and catch your breath, this is a nice spot to do it. At the end of a cul-de-sac, the house offers a fantastic view off of the second floor balcony. It was quiet while we were there and the house had all the things you needed to stay entertained, cook/eat or just quietly relax. A kitchen with everything you can think of to cook (sponge not included - which was all that we missed). Firewood that burned easily on a cold rainy fall night (pro tips - back row of chopped wood is the older/drier wood! Bring news paper to start the fire!). A popcorn machine stocked with a popcorn, scoop and a popcorn box made for some ad-hoc snacks (pro tip - you use it, you clean it). Books, games and comfortable couches on both floors made it easy to slow down and relax. For those that need to stay connected: There is a small office space under the stairs if you need to check in at the office in an out-of-the way spot while others stay disconnected from work. TVs on both floors with access to all the streaming services you will need (watched the Pats game!). Wifi was great. The owner was great with regard to pre-arrival instructions. Don't be like us - when you arrive, read the guest handbook in the easy-to-find binder before you do anything else. Everything you need to know is there. The owner is super nice and quick to respond if you do have questions. There is plenty to do nearby. Do your homework and you will find nice restaurants, breweries and hikes. The Mt Haystack Trail entrance is less than 1/4 mile away from the house. Google it and read the reviews, it's a 1.5 mile trail to the top - 3 hours or less round trip. The house could use a little work/updating here and there. Nothing major - I'm nit picking. If you want perfection, go find a five star hotel and deal with all that comes with that. Or, get off the beaten path and be present/in the moment and get away for a bit at a place like this. To the owner - thank you for allowing pets. We brought our pup. He didn't want to leave. He literally resisted when it was time to go. He loved the place. We all enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing it. It was nice to take a break.

This property was clean, comfortable and spacious. The view from the deck was wonderful during the day, and at night for stargazing. Kevin was very helpful and attentive. Before our arrival, he monitored the weather, alerted us to difficult travel conditions, and even allowed us in early to ensure our safety getting up the mountain. During our stay he texted to make sure everything was going well, and to answer our questions. We are grateful, and would highly recommend a summer stay here.

This clean and comfortable space had everything we needed. It was close to hiking, had a great view, and had comfortable beds and furniture. The well stocked kitchen and outdoor grill made it easy to enjoy all the summer produce we found around the area. Checking in and out was easy, and the owner was very responsive if we needed him.
