Perfect layout - had everything we needed for a short break

Property was very clean, comfortable and perfect for our 2 night stay in Chester. Decor was lovely and owners were easy to communicate with. Beds were very comfy and house was warm.

There was a little bit of traffic noise but nothing too bothersome. Would have been useful to have a clothes airer as not all clothes could be dried in washer/drier. This was important to us as we’re travelling from OS for many weeks.

The cottage was designed exceptionally and the facilities were incredible. It looked beautiful, was very clean and comfortable and homely. Our 2 year old daughter loved her first holiday here!

Noise from the road but did not affect sleep or general comfort.

The house was stunning and spotless

I wanted to stay in the upstairs bedroom, but it was too noisy. It isn't clear from the property details that the bedroom window opens onto one of the main A-roads into Chester. Really noisy! A bit misleading :(

Loved how as soon as you go into the house it smelt lovely and clean. Very good facilities.. has everything you need. Beds are comfortable and warm. Great location to the town, zoo and eateries.

The only tiny thing I would say is the bedrooms back onto the main road so a little noisy.. but wouldn't put me off staying again.

Clean and everything to hand

So close to a main road - sleep was quite broken hence a 8 score

Beautiful cottage, clean & modern, free private parking & very easy check-in & out.

This is being super super picky as our stay was amazing but to give it a full 10/10, a mirror in the upstairs bedroom would have been handy (as when bathroom in use there is nowhere to do hair & make-up) & there were only hand towels to use in both bathrooms.

Good location within Chester, property was spotlessly clean and cosy, having everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Road noise when trying to sleep

beautiful inside and very clean and well equipped

the open plan kitchen and lounge provided lots of space. the upstairs bedroom was really useful for the baby to sleep where we wouldn’t disturb him. loved the decor and furniture. well stocked kitchen.

The location, decor, parking, heated towel rail and the facilities.

We would have liked more control over the heating.
