There was no tea/coffee available. The breakfast wasn’t very nice

Great location on the (former) seafront.
Room was very clean and tidy and recently redecorated.
Staff were brilliant in terms of helping is to book a boat trip, hire a scooter, etc, at very reasonable rates.
Only downside was - tho no fault of the hotel- the whole of Cat Ba bay is now reclaimed land, where they are building masses of massive buildings. So the sea view is gone and the noise of building works was endless.

Centrally located and met basic needs.
Staff was inexperienced and breakfast was not very good. Just fried egg, dry bread, instant coffee and instant juice. Staff served others before us even though we arrived first.
