Great locatio! Right across the street from Disney parks. Room was clean and spacious; small kitchen with dishes and cookware included. Various dining options available within walking distance. Small convenient store is located downstairs. Elevator on site for higher floors. Parking with valet available on site for an extra fee. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Stay was great, close to the park. They changed our towels everyday and cleaned.
Hot tub was great to relax in after a long day at the park. Staff is amazing they never hesitated to help. I would definitely stay here again.

GOOD: 1.The Tropicana is approximately 10-15 minute walk to the Disneyland and California Adventure ticket booths, including passing through Security, provided you arrive early or during non-peak times. 2. Room: very clean, bed VERY comfortable, and had convenient fridge (no freezer), coffee maker, and microwave. (Just to be clear: no breakfast served at this hotel.) 3. The hotel will hold your luggage after check-out until you leave to go home. CONS: 1. The ONLY towel rack and robe hook are in the separate toilet and shower/tub room (no towel racks or hooks in the sink area!). So after washing your hands or face, you have to get a towel from the toilet room? Weird. 2. The only reading lamps “near” the bed were ceiling-mounted lights (slightly dimmable) that created glare when I looked away from my book (if a second person wanted to sleep while the first person reads….YIKES!). 3. I could plainly hear the people talking and (little kids) screaming as they walked past my room (at all times of the day and late into the evening). AND I also clearly heard the obnoxiously loud and insulting evangelical person standing about 200 feet away (using a BIG speaker) starting at 7:30 am. The gaps between the room door and the frame are clearly visible and transmit sound. A simple fix: add weather-stripping/caulking around the door, which would also allow the AC/heater to work more efficiently. 4. The sink portion of the bathroom cannot be shut off from the main part of the room.

This is a great place to stay when visiting Disneyland. Easy walk to and from the park which is nice after a long day. Dated but clean and comfortable. Always great service and most times can early check in.

Very convenient location to Disneyland. Housekeeping would provide us with fresh towel everyday, but didn't seem like they actually vacuumed or cleaned the room daily or every other day.

The hotel was very clean and you cannot beat the location, right ac9rss the street from the park about a 6 minute walk to the gate. The staff was very friendly too. The one drawback was the bed was way too firm.

The room smelled horribly like Mold. Everytime we entered the room we go thit with a wave of a musty moldy smell. We ran the bathroom fan all day and had the window open for 3 hours a day and it did not help. The carpet looked old. We ran the A/C all night to have "better" air. The room was super basic. The 2nd room our family had was also musty, not as bad. It was an accessible room with a bathtub - the tub was very difficult to use for being an accessible room. The only good - distance to park entrance. I would never stay here again.

This Tropicana Inn was good. The location right across the street from Disneyland is why I booked it for our family. Clean comfortable beds. They only take out garbage and replace used towels daily nothing else. Which was fine for us. No breakfast. Glad to have a microwave and a fridge. One thing I would suggest would be a desk and chair. Also didn’t have any usb plug ins so make sure you bring a plug adapter for each of your cords. In the description it says parking available which does not mean free parking. $45.00 was pretty expensive for 5 night stay. Overall great location comfortable and clean but heavy on the parking fee.

We had the best time! Our family of 4 (2 kids, 7 & 10 year olds) fit great in this room! Plenty of space for us. Loved the microwave and mini fridge in the room.
And the proximity to Disneyland is AMAZING! We enjoyed our stay, and will likely book here again

We stayed for the first time in this Tropicana due to the proximity to Disneyland park. We tried first to get early check in but it wasn’t available. When we got to our room we noticed an odd smell, smelled like feet inside and even after opening the windows for a while we couldn’t get rid of the smell. Amenities within the room are average, bathroom area is okay. The general vibe of this “hotel” is more of a motel with a couple of renovations to make it look a little bit better but still poor/average experience. After airing the room for a whole day the smell finally came out. Staff entered our room while out to refresh towels but they just folded some used ones 💀
I think this hotel is overpriced because of the proximity to Disney but I don’t think it is worth it; Camelot next door has bigger rooms and feels cleaner.

Bed was horrible. Front desk rude when I asked for a receipt. Room smelled trash was left. Was so uncomfortable we left a day early. Told front desk about experience and only response was you’re not getting a refund(which I didn’t ask for). Will never stay there again

The sink in our first room drained all the water straight in the bathroom floor…they moved us to a balcony room which was clean and comfortable but it was right by the road so it was noisy.

We have been to Disneyland many times but have never stayed at the Tropicana. I was delighted with the proximity to the park! We were able to check our bags with the office ahead of our room being ready and walked across the street and enjoyed the Parks.
Beds were clean and decent. Not the softest bed, however the pillows NAILED IT!
I was shocked at how quiet it was considering it was Spring Break week.

Overall the stay was okay for the price we paid. There was no weather strip underneath our door and it was raining. The room had a smell but the towels and bedding were very clean. The refrigerator didnt get cold enough to safely hold food and the walls are very thin so you can hear everyone around you. I am a light sleeper so I didnt rest well the whole time. We had to get our room key replaced twice because it stopped working both times. It is very close to Disney which made it more worth it.

We stay here everytime we go to Disneyland, which is every 4 months or so, and we love it. Its so convenient to the park, great walking distance, clean rooms, and friendly hotel staff. Would recommend and cant wait to go back

The front desk lobby staff was so unwelcoming. If I’m gonna pay $314 for one night, I’d expect at least a smile and welcoming customer service. We all have bad days and we gotta put on that smile at work, right ? Exactly. The shower curtains old and a bit smelly.

There were flies in the room and it was disgusting. The housekeepers were only changing the towels . They didn’t clean the bathroom or room during our stay. They didn’t make the the bed either. I won’t come back again.

Our room was great. It was clean, decent beds and pillows, bigger and thicker towels than usual, and best of all we had a kitchen with a stove fully furnished with dishes. The worst part was the service. I called maybe an hr or 2 before check in time, which is really late 4pm, to see if a room might be ready. I was told no try later. Called an hr later and was told no again. Called at 345 and was told "we will call you when a room is available". You would think 15 til check in your room would be available. Well today at check out there were multiple people they were checking in early around 830 am. They were taking way too long helping them and dont have a key dropbox so i just left keys on counter. The valet is very nice and helpful and the room is close to everything you need. If you lose or forget toiletries like my daughter did, they have a shop attached below that sells the essentials.

We used to stay at this location as often as we can going to Disneyland. This is the first time I will not stay there again. They blocked half of the parking lot to rent parking spaces to disneyland goers. You had to pay for parking wach night, and if there wasn't a self parking available then you had to valet your car with them. The shadiest part was when I came back from dinner with my family, they had no self parking available. I told them I am not trusting them with my van overnight. I went to speak with their manager and they scrambled and I watched one of their employees moved their car out of the self parking and tell me they "found" parking for me. Another hotel guest complained and I watched another employee run out and move their car. So either 2 things are happening, they are prioritizing parking to non hotel guest, or they are trying to do shady stuff to our vehicles. My father valet his truck overnight and caught them sleeping in his truck. I will not be returning to this hotel until they get rid of the valet parking, it was very shady.

We stayed for one night. Check in and check out was easy. We parked outside of our room, allowing us easy access for unpacking and packing. We had enough amenities to last through our stay. The walk to the Disneyland entrance was about 5mins. We will be staying again.

Great location to Disney. Huge hot tub which was great for soaking in after a long day of walking. The bed was firmer than I would have liked. But my hubby slept great. Check in/out was easy. And Valet was no upcharge.

The location is the only reason to stay here being right across the street from the Disneyland entrance. It saves time not having to take a shuttle. It’s appallingly dirty. There was food smeared on the walls and light switches the surfaces sticky the bedding also had food on it and stained bedding. They also don’t warn you they don’t clean daily. But the location is the draw. It’s ok. Will look for a new hotel to stay at when going to Disney next time.

Great location!! Which is why we booked there. Rooms aren’t fancy but it’s what you need. Beds are comfy rooms are big enough for a family of 4. Could be a little updated in the bathroom but nothing that would keep me from staying there again.

Location is superb. I’ve stayed here 3 times before and I thought the rooms looked fresher this time so I think they have updated a bit. Little shop at the front is very handy and the kids loved the pool/spa.

I would have said excellent, but there is one thing I really think could and should be updated in the rooms - the type of toilet, their round toilet seems really dated these days, please update to an oval larger toilet.
