The front desk staff is the only reason I rated more than 1 star. Hear me out, this place is definitely not a place to stay for more than a night. We did to break up the drive to st pete from Atlanta and to visit Madison Blue Springs, this was the closest place to the park. The area it is in is very rundown. if you’re traveling with kids or just women definitely skip it’s mostly construction crews that work out of town and are staying for work, the very drunk man outside was sure to let us know. The rooms themselves have recently been renovated and are clean. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Outside there were trash bags on the sidewalk and “breakfast” is bagels that have been put in ziplock bags and coffee or juice. Bottom line it’s not for families, my mother in law threatened to leave and pay memorial day rates at another hotel as soon as we pulled in. but my husband talked her down. We saw the springs, stayed the night and checked out by 7:30.
