This hotel is right off the highway, so it’s easy to get to. It’s close by to the downtown area. The breakfast was hot and fresh with a good variety of choices. I would stay here again if I’m back in the area.

This Hampton Inn had a nice pool, and a pretty decent workout room too! The breakfast had an awesome "make your own flavored waffle" with all sorts of toppings! It's close to Costco too, and only 10 minutes from the Burlington airport!

We stayed at this hotel twice before in the last couple of months because of a family member who needed surgery at UVM Hospital. This was the third time for the final procedure. They Price Gouged the room rate up $100 due to the Eclipse (which wasn't even happening for another 5 days) even though the room was booked for medical reasons. We precooked an accessible room, but were told that we had a regular room booked (even though we paid extra for the accessible room). They fixed our room type, but as stated, an accessible room was booked ahead. There was construction in the lobby, but they still changed us the gouged rate. At least the breakfast was really good.

Breafast ok...service front desk excellent, answered with smile ..they are very nice people. Room Need renovation and they are doing....but for the price paid it was clean and no issue. Excellent for what i paid.

For a Hampton Inn, we were disappointed. We had to call the front desk after getting to our room to have someone come clesn the toilet. There was pee dried on the toilet see and poo in the toilet. Room really wasnt that clean and room wasnt worth the more expensive price. I wouldnt go back to this location

This hotel was very convenient right off of the highway. Also very convenient to shopping, gas and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and the buffet breakfast was a plus every morning. Enjoyed their indoor pool.

Comfortable bed, good shower, good breakfast. Mostly quiet, there were some unexplained thumps that might’ve been the elevator, but I was pleasantly surprised to open my door in the morning and realize how much noise was coming from the breakfast area that had not entered my room. Nothing triggered my allergies, which was unusual and very welcome. They had a lot of lights outside that stayed on all night and the window shade did not block all of it, so I needed an eye visor to sleep. That was my biggest complaint, but pretty minor compared to most hotels. I’ll be back!

We love staying at the Hampton Inn when we visit Vermont. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious. Clean and comfortable. The breakfast is great.

Make it easy to check in.... THEY DID! greet me with a smile 😊.. they did!! Help me get to a Dr appointment.. they did!! Transportation help.. they did!! And a fun and funny Somalian driver was icing on the cake! Extended my stay due to medical issue.. They understood and kept me in the same wonderful room for a few more days! Great service!! THANK you so much!!

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well-appointed. However, I wonder if the managers have ever tried to sleep in their own hotel. Perhaps they wore an eye mask and ear plugs... The thermostat has a brightly lit blue panel that, in the dark, illuminates the whole room with a ghostly blue pall. I created a tower of pillows (which were abundant) to block the worst of the light, but of course, they toppled frequently. The heating system is also quite loud.

The hotel is close to the University and is reasonable. But it is a bit worn down, and our room had an odor that we could not place. It was something between moldy and smelly feat.

I really like the Hampton Inn, its like Oh, I Dunno the way 7-11's were when I was a kid...you walk in with a comfortable knowing that every 7-11 will be the same, so you go straight to what you want. 7-11 is not like that anymore and The Hampton Inn is tapering away from that kind of familiarity too. Mind you I'm not complaining. I'm really just pointing out progress and growth. The Hampton Inn Colchester has some unfamiliar designs to it and my impulse is to say that the building was once another hotel entirely. Thats fine (I guess) but when I walk in, there is the slight structure of being in an unfamiliar place. The thermostat must have been set for Celsius, it took some getting use to. The rooms ceiling was vaulted in an unusual counter ergonomic way. Very odd. The doorway to the bathroom seemed trendy and thoughtful until you really really look at it - then you realize - Oh Gosh, little kids will certainly get their fingers pinched here. Its a sliding door that alternatively opens and closes an adjacent closet. I've enclosed pics. The staff at The Hampton Inn Colchester were great. They really were, so much so that I wish I had gotten their names to include them in a praiseworthy statement. In my opinion when you are reviewing dining or lodging, you are really reviewing the moments that are important to you. That's why sometimes I don't show pictures of food dishes - its not the food that I will remember years from now, its who I spent meaningful time with.

I really enjoyed how well the staff maintained the breakfast areas during peak times in the morning. One particular woman greeted every single person and it made a world of difference when the kitchen was a little overwhelmed and behind.

Family trip with our dog. They were great when there was one issue with the bathroom. Offered us a new room. She chose to stay put, kids already in bed. Good breakfast, we had a suite, and were able to entertain family. Saw lots of families meeting upstairs in main eating area. Tons of families playing in the pool. We had an updated room with modern bathroom. I hate to leave good reviews because it makes the hotel harder to get the next time, but the staff was great, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help when we needed it.
