It was nice. The room was outdated. They do not offer daily room service, we called for room service one day but no one ever came. The front desk was helpful when we needed something. The restaurant was mediocre and the service was friendly but slow.

The ice machine will not give me more than one cup of ice and we only had one plastic cup for drinking water….the room was supposed to be with partial view but didn’t see any!!

Hotel is dated, at one time I could see it was the place to stay at, it’s not a big deal anymore. On my floor the ice machine was not working when I checked in and was not working when I checked out. I had blond hairs in my towels, my wife has black hair and I have a shaved bald head. No soap in the shower soap dispenser, noisy ALL night with some sort of mechanical noise. And please tell me what is a thirty five dollar resort fee? My stay was in the room and nothing else! Furniture looks like something from the 1970s that Elvis picked out, I think it’s some kind of crushed velvet. They also charge ten dollar's a night to park in an outside parking lot. Tile falling off of the interior walls, several more things that I don’t have time to mention. But with all this I can assure you that I will not stay there again.

Amazing. Quiet, clean cozy room. Easy access to staff and necessities. Lovely holiday decoration. Had the opportunity to have quiet nights at the pool and hot tub. Wonderful memories.

What a beautiful place. We always enjoy our stay. I was a little disappointed that they have started charging to park. The stay, food, etc. is super high as it is. Why not gig your customers with one more cost? We also waited a long time to get our dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

This was such a comfortable and easy stay. Staff are all super nice and helpful and warm. My kids loved the amenities (theater, pool, saunas, the deck, sweets shop) and I enjoyed walking my dog out on the grass, just exploring the grounds. A lot of extras and fees but they make it worthwhile.

Nice place to stay, paying for parking is unnecessary.

We stayed at this hotel about two years ago for an anniversary, and it was very nice and accommodating. However, since our last stay, this hotel has drastically changed. When we first arrived, we were greeted with a parking fee on top of the amount we were already charged for our stay. This would be understandable if we were in a larger city with limited parking. However, a very large portion of the parking lot was completely empty. Not to mention, we were already charged for “resort fees” in our booking. Then, once we pulled back our bedding at the end of the night, there was a used tissue tucked into the sheets. We were unsure if this was from hotel staff or a previous guest, but either way, you could understand our discomfort. Finally, we went to have breakfast the morning of our departure and it was almost $70 for 2 adults, 1 child, and mediocre at best. Our waitress also took a considerable amount of time between attending on us, and the breakfast area was practically empty. We feel extremely overcharged for an experience that did not reach half of our expectations from what we saw online and experienced previously, and could have been superseded in cleanliness, breakfast quality, and value at a much cheaper hotel.

The hotel was beautiful inside and out. The only thing we had any trouble with was house keeping, and that was just having to ask twice for more towels and bathroom tissue and they didn't come clean at all during our 5 night stay.
Chase at the front desk was excellent for advice and tips on Branson and was very pleasant to deal with. The sweet shop was a great place to have dessert and the coffee was a must. The Breakfast buffet was super delicious as well and worth the 20$ per person (you're pretty much going to spend that somewhere else as well). We didn't try the spa because we were going so much. Overall it was a good experience here and i would go back

Room was very nice, as was the view of the lake. The concierge that greeted us was very friendly and informative. On that bote, actually the entire staff we met were very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was tasty and not overly expensive. We really enjoyed the sweets shop as well. Sadly we only came for a day trip, but we will certainly be returning.!

The hotel was kind of old needs to be renovated. The grounds were very nice. The room had tape on the window. You could barely see out the windows they were dirty and with the screens on them. And the bed sunk in really bad it’s a shame because it is a nice property Disney’s a little renovation.

We left another resort mid weekend because it was so horrible! Booked a quick night at the Château, and was so pleased! Chase at the front desk did everything he could to make us happy. We will never stay anywhere else when we go to Branson.

Awesome place, great stay and wonderful location!!

Room was clean at first glance but then noticed dusty lamps, carpet dirty around baseboards etx

The hotel is lovely, but my biggest issue is the $10 per night parking fee. This is basically the off-season for Branson and apparently the fee was just put into place at the first of 2024. I returned from a wedding around 9 PM and there was nowhere to park outside due to banquet being held at the hotel. Did those attendees have to pay the $10 per day parking fee?
Also, the food was way overpriced. $17 for a club sandwich???
The checkin process was uncomfortable as well. I could not understand the man who checked us in. He had little to no personality and was not informative about hotel amenities. There was not a booklet in the room about the restaurants or anything else on the property.
There needs to be better customer service, dedicated space to park for hotel guests, and ditch the $10 parking fee!

This is a gorgeous place to stay. There is so much detail in the building.

you pay extra for resort fees which is around &32 for one night plus no complimentary drink. Water is $6.50. Furniture is old. Not worth the money I paid.

Beautiful hotel. We really enjoyed staying here. The hotel is clean, the rooms were huge and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Previous stays to this resort were wonderful, not so much this time around. Unpleasant stay, dirty common areas including the indoor pool and horrible mattress were all on the list. Would not recommend staying again!

We stayed New Year's Eve at the Chateau, in a partial lake view room. The resort property is grand and the service was excellent. The lobby was decorated beautifully for the holidays, and staff members were friendly throughout. Our room had a small balcony from which we could see the fireworks at midnight. Beds were very comfy, bathroom was roomy and well appointed. A few negatives-- outside parking was $10 a night (valet was &25). The items on the Chateau Grill restaurant menu seemed overpriced, and the bottled water in our room was $6.50 a bottle. Although our room had a mini-fridge, it did not have a microwave, which is a standard item in most (less expensive) hotels nowadays. This hotel also charges a resort fee, of which I am not a fan. Negatives aside, we did enjoy our stay at the Chateau and would probably return, especially for a special occasion.

Disappointed! We have stayed here several times in the past and never left disappointed. The first sign was having to pay for parking that had previously been free. Then sitting in the bar and being unable to get any service for over 20 minutes, because there was only one person working the bar area (the bartender) on a FRIDAY night before New Years weekend. REALLY! Not only was there only one person working the bar area, but she was barely competent and had no urgency in doing her job, even though there was at least 5 to 6 patrons waiting to be served. We eventually just left and went down to the cafe and sat at the small bar and had great service from the a much better bartender named Debra*****. Then when we went for late breakfast the next morning, we had to wait 25 minutes for a table and it was very apparent that the dining room was not even a quarter full and it was a buffet. And we had the same issue with the one person that was waiting tables. So, disappointed!

Food was overpriced and subpar. My braised rib at the Atrium was served cold. The breakfast buffet had limited options and the server did not attend to us at all. 3 dollars for a cup of tea from a brand at walmart that is 6 dollars for 20 bags. 3 dollars for 4 ounces of orange juice. Hilariously overpriced.

No complementary breakfast, limited restaurant facilities, and Expedia charge just too much for the second day

As usual, it was a great stay. Our kids love it there as well.

This used to be the place to go. Now they charge a resort fee, parking, additional fees for early check in and late check out. Not to mention the extremely rude front desk workers that act as if you are interrupting them when you try to check in. Since it went under new management, it has really gone downhill.

I wasn’t told there was a change from parking was not happy about that and its park at your own risk this is pretty sorry in my eyes

Loved the restraunt and lounge area. Made staying there very enjoyable and convenient away from any crowds. Great bar menu!

The only complaint we had was there are no vending machines and no place to get a drink after house. It was very cold outside, I was sick and had to get out and go to a gas station to get a drink so i could take some medicine. Other than that our stay was great.

Loved the room and loved the beautiful lobby! The views were amazing!! I hope it won’t be our last time staying there.
My only complaint was I wasn’t able to get internet service even with tech support.

Previous stays were wonderful, but this was not. I understand you can't help things going wrong, but to stay two nights and not be able to shower comfortably was very upsetting. Again, I realize it couldn't be helped, but the communication regarding the issue was subpar to be kind. Because I had to physically go downstairs to try and find someone twice just to try and get an answer as to what was going on, we were late getting where we were going, If you had been forthcoming with the issue the FIRST time I had to go seek assistance, that would have been much better. I have been another establishment once many years ago who had a similar issue and they were on top of it. They also compensated their guests a bit for the inconvenience and discomfort. I will still come back to give it another try because I know you CAN do better.

One of our rooms had a very dirty bath room

We had issues with the hot water because a pipe burst but the manager was quick to help resolve the issues and great with communication. The resort is always a favorite of ours especially at Christmas because of all the decor and the gingerbread houses. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

Great hotel but was not happy with the surprise parking charge to self-park outside. No notice of that change and no fee when we stayed there just a few months ago. It’s one thing to charge for covered parking but not for self-parking with no cover in the rain!

We have been staying at this property since it opened in the late 90’s. We’ve always loved it. This time was disappointing. Updating and freshening up is way over due. We had to request maid service, for fresh towels and it looked like a 5 year old made the bed ! Water in the room was $6.50 per bottle! The Kuerig had so much build up it wouldn’t drip out the water. We still love sitting by the fireplace and the Christmas decorations are still pretty. Of course the view of the lake is wonderful. It’s a shame to let such a magnificent structure not be kept up.

Need handicap parking, only one marked spot on upper parking. Friendly staff and very helpful.
