Spacious room; Floor needed to be vacuumed well; had only 1-towel & 1-dingy wash cloth; linens were dingy; supposed to be white; nasty looking comforter. Surprisingly the bed slept extremely well. Desk staff tried to reconcile any problems I had. Recliner took up add’l space.

NEGATIVES: This was an extended stay type of hotel which is not disclosed on Hotels.com website. If I had known that information I would not have booked a stay there. Property is old and a renovation is much needed. Smells mildewy when you walk in. The room I had booked with 2 beds was not available so I had to take a room with one bed and a sofa sleeper (if that's what I wanted I would have booked it).
Very upset with the hold for "Incidentals" - 7 to 10 business days?! Also they would not allow me to pay for incidentals on a separate card. What difference does it freaking make? That is some bullsh*t.
POSITIVES: Location was convenient for my stay. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. I would only recommend this place for a 1 night stay - anything beyond that I would not recommend.

Very basic place. Not really near anything, but there are restaurants close by. There is not daily maid service, so you are on your own. The wifi is very spotty and you cant log on during certain busy hours.

The place was exactly like every other simply sonesta, only difference with this one is the front desk ladies seem to both be above everybody checking in or enjoy taking shots at the guest as far as maximizing every single dollar they could turn out of you and if they couldn't they would kick you out basically they kept charging me a deposit for every single night so I finally when I couldn't pay they took my money and then kick me out straight kick me out.

The room was awful. The sheets were dirty. The air conditioning was either freezing or not working properly. The carpet was horrible as well as the curtains and to top it all there were cockroaches in the room. Luckily I saw them the morning after.

Front desk employee was extremely helpful and kind. Please focus on sanitizing the rooms. I used Lysol to clean it but initially it was tolerable. Downside was the lack of supplies in the suite initially. I had to request toilet paper, utensils, dishwashing detergent, and a cooking pot. Their response was awesome. I also noticed vehicles in the handicap parking without notification that they were handicapped.

The hotel is very clean, which is important to me. The part I didn't like was not to have enough towel... having one piece towel is not enough, we should have at least two.

Once you find a cockroach in your room is NOT a good place!

You better watch this place, it is use more as leasing apartments. It is misleading advertising as hotel. They don’t do daily room service.

The hotel staff was nice, but the bathroom was dirty! I had to buy wipes from the gas station just to disinfect the place, urine and poop feces were around the area! The shower was ok small mold in the corners though! And the free shampoo body wash and conditioner sample were EMPTY, and the worse for me …. Was only having 2 towels , one was clean but the other had makeup stains on them!

Staff was very nice, but property has a bad smell. Cockroaches in the room. Bed didn't have a real blanket, more like a another thin top sheet. Partially recovered chair in bad shape. Caulk in tub had deteriorated and fixture was loose. Shower curtain falling apart. Outside door near my room was supposed to be locked and opened with a key, but apparently was broken and simply left unlocked all the time so anyone could come and go out the back. Checked out early and got a refund, but would not recommend this to anyone unless it was a dire emergency situation with mo other choice.

Plumbing in bathroom flooded . Front desk said all rooms were full so couldnt use one to get ready (even though parking lot was 1/3 full. Said use lobby bathtroom. It has no power outlet, did not have any towels there or that i could use and paper towel dispenser was empty. She could not have cared less.

Arrived at hotel and was given a room that did not match the description of the room I selected. When I brought that up to the manager I was told that the hotel "does not have those kind of rooms," despite seeing pictures of these rooms online. Then when getting off of the elevator, the manager met me in the hallway and informed me that a "tenant had left" and there "may be a room like the one I described." I then went to the room and it did have two beds, although it was still not the room type that I selected.
Was told that we would have to bring all dirty linens down to the front desk and exchange for new ones if we wanted clean linens.
Hot water did not work in shower.
Entire hotel smelled strongly of cigarette and marijuana smoke.
I do not frequently stay in 5 star hotels. I am familiar with some of the difficulties that come with staying in cheaper motels. This one was just not worth it. The beds were comfortable and the room was large, but getting to the room that I actually selected online was a pain in the ass that took too much time. I was also told after giving my card to the manager that there would be a $75 security deposit that would be returned within 7-10 business days. None of that information was listed online, nor were details including that the hotel is being converted into apartments, so certain amenities are no longer available.

Quiet, updated hotel, conveniently located near major highways. Spacious, comfortable, liked the kitchen and counter space.

This is by far the nastiest place I’ve ever stayed in my entire lifetime. Filthy in hallway and in the room. I will never go back to this horrible place. I left one day earlier and I regret not leaving the first day

1bdrm suite:The sofa bed couch had white stains on the cushions. When cushions were remove there was d at significant dirt/ crumbs etc on the vinyl support frame. Dirty AC vent system and no system in the bedroom. Front desk personnel was nice.

The front desk double booked our room at 330am my girlfriend was naked and someone walked in the room with a key ten minutes later the front desk associate knocked on the door demanding to see confirmation that we had paid

Check-in was a mess. Small office space and there was no organization in their process. No one knew who was next. I checked in on time and but happen to mention that our friend would be checking in late. At that time I was told a ‘glitch in the system’ had released all reservations and they were now issuing rooms out on a first come first serve basis. I asked if any notices had gone out and told NO. I was told my friend would have no room and he’d have to ask his third party booking agent to refund him his payment. While they did allow me to check in my friend with my credit card for incidentals, its shocking to me they would not notify anyone of this. If I had not asked, our friend would have NO ROOM when he tried checking in. Room also were not very clean. Smell of smoke. I WOULD NOT COME HERE AGAin.

Room provided what we needed for one night but bathroom toilet was loose when you sat on it. The shower was broken and bathroom looked dirty. We had a car so drove to get food to eat which was close by but if you don't have car there's not much within walking distance.

We arrived with a confirmed reservation on Hotels.com only to discover when we arrived that the hotel overbooked guests because it was the NCAA tournament. There was no room for us. We had to scramble to find a new hotel with a baby in tow and in time for a friend’s wedding. Skip this place.

Can’t check in until 4. Part of hotel is rented out as an extended stay/apartment. Staff is more concerned about what’s on their phone rather than customers. Staff is ok having explicit convos with tenants in the lobby, however wants guests to keep the peace. Not able to get fresh towels after cleaning crew is gone.

I would not recommend this property. It’s both a hotel and apartments. We did not receive sheets/blankets for our pull out couch until day 2. We didn’t have a garbage can so they gave us a large bag. We didn’t have enough towels for our room number b/c they were “out” of towels. No blankets on our beds, only sheets. Horrible stay and experience. Weekend and evening staff not helpful or accommodating at all. This property is run down and old. Tub faucet not attached to wall.

I didn’t like the location around the hotel. I did not like that this hotel is converting to apartment with residents already living there and staff seemed to be friendlier to them than the hotel customers. The elevator did not work and the toilet ran all the time. In the lobby as well as in the hallway of my room you could smell marijuana very Strongly. The soap was empty in the shower. Their was no breakfast. The front desk staff were not friendly they seemed mad and bothered.

We registered for a room with a shower seat. My husband is an amputee and this was an important request. The clerk was friendly. We found out on arrival that the elevator wasn't working. We asked for a room on the first floor when we found out about the elevator. We were told that there weren't any available rooms. We had no option but to take the stairs. Taking a wheel chair up to the second floor was very difficult . We are from out of state for a medical appointment/schedule surgery. We made reservations at this location due to the doctor/hospital close by. The shower situation was impossible. The clerk said that our request for the shower didn't come through.

Poor staff attitude at reception and departure. Stovetop did not work. Outlet did not work. Coffee pot was dirty and not usable. Kitchen had two forks and a spoon. No pan to cook with. Won't stay there again.

Stains on my towels. Room had a musky smell especially when I put the heater on. Even my personal air freshener didn’t eliminate the smell. I had half a roll of toilet paper I had to result to using half sheets of paper towel and the tv was old as my ancestors.

Missing comforter for one of the beds, stains on the carpets. Bugs crawling in bathroom and kirchen area. No coffee machine or iron in room. Had to request for them. Not very happy with the stay. I stayed in Dallas Sonseta and was much better overall.
