Great place for a family vacation. Delicious food and nice entertainment!

Iberostar did not disappoint us! We enjoyed our stay with our big family of 10 with young kids very much!!! We will def be staying at other iberostars in other countries.

Property was beautiful

Iberostar is a shadow of its former glory from 15-20 years ago. Over the years I visited Iberostar Linda, Iberostar, Selection Suits, Iberostar Punta Cana, Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus. This honest review is based on comparison of the current state to my previous 25+ years with this brand and 11 stays. - Rooms are dated and the fixes to address issues are "creative" with a negative connotation. My balcony and my window locks were broken. The staff chose a creative approach of drilling a hole, so you have to insert a stud pin through 2 panels. Did it work? Yes. Was it annoying? Absolutely. Is that a 5* hotel solution? No! - No pen or notepad on the nightstand (was offered 3 years ago and before), no clock, mirrors are old - Bathrooms doors don't lock by design.. This is a new industry trend I guess but doesn't make it a good thing. - Black dirty Table lamp that was very out of place and would be an embarrassment even to a 3* hotel. - AC works but it's weak - Bathroom products are very basic. No personal care kits. Cotton pads, Q-tips, Toothbrush/toothpaste kits, shower cap, shaving kit. Anything? Nope, Nada. - Food is still ok but not as good as several years back. Lobster Thursdays? Gone. - Staff is undertrained compared to old times especially in buffet and restaurants. Why? - The vibe I got "we still have customers why bother"? Won't last much longer with this attitude. After 25+ of being a loyal customer I won't be coming back.
