As a ski in/ski out property, it was literally just steps from the lifts. Ski valet is also right there and extremely convenient. Staff was very nice. loved the breakfast in the restaurant, good drinks at bar, shower was amazing, TV options were great, storage in the room was the best we've seen in a ski resort hotel. For negatives, just 2 things: most importantly, the pillows are ATROCIOUS! Asked at front desk for anything else - different kind, different ones in general - to no avail. We all had to stuff bath towels, sweatshirts, Patagonia puffers, etc in order to sleep at all. To spend $7000 on a week for the hotel stay and need to STUFF your pillow is ridiculous. They are about 12 inches by 12 inches square and about 2 inches thick - all 8 in the room were the exact same. Not one of us could sleep without at least a towel, sweatshirt and a puffer coat folded and stuffed in the pillow case. Last, the self park lot was about a 10 minute cold, dark walk from the hotel. Valet was available for $35/night or something - if you can do it, it's worth it because that walk was not fun. Overall, it was a great stay but seriously, pack your own pillow or extra clothes to stuff the case with or your sleep will be miserable!

Everything was great except the beds! For such a nice resort, you’d think the beds and mattresses would be nicer. Both beds in our room felt very cheap and the mattresses were terrible! Other than that, no complaints!

A lovely stay with great attentive staff! The pool was the very best part! The Murphy bed in the room was a surprise. Not the most comfortable and an inconvenience to move furniture out of the way. The feee parking is the Big Sky Mr parking lot that .4 miles away, unlit and unpaved parking lanes.

The location is excellent. Great views of the mountains. The village area is very nice. There was a big bike race so that was fun to watch. Room had a murphy bed and it was the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on. So soft and flimsy. Also the free parking lot is a solid 10 minute walk from the hotel or you can pay to valet. Not ideal as it’s the farthest hotel from the parking lot. But loved the location and was what I was hoping it would be other than bed and parking.

LOVE this hotel. Wish there was a sauna. Outside of the hotel, perhaps not part of the hotel itself was a hot dog stand that says they charge 4.75 for a combo meal, but 2 combo meals was $26. When I pointed that out, the guy said "hot dogs were 4.75 back in the 1990s". That was weird. They opened at 11:30am, on a Tuesday, and I was 5th in line. It took 32 minutes to get 2 hot dog combos. That was a big downer, but not part of the exact hotel. Summit Hotel was great and the people were VERY friendly and helpful throughout. Very nice hotel.

Manager called the night before we were scheduled to check out and said they put us in the incorrect room. Then asked us to vacate the room. We refused as we had been there for 3 nights.. . Also had issues with housekeeping getting our room serviced. For what you pay to stay here, you really should expect more. Unfortunate really since the location of the hotel is the best on the mountain.

Great hotel. Can not beat the location. True ski-in/out. Valet puts your skis right next to the lift. Only complaint was our room was categorized as a "Superior Room' but the bed was a Murphy Bed (pulls out of the wall) and felt like a hide-a-bed comfort-wise. They only cleaned our room once and never replenished coffee. Only got new towels one day. With that said, will definitely come back.

The property is nice but very torn up with construction and their best restaurant is closed. Most troubling was the parking requirement to park nearly a half mile unlit walk from the hotel. Seriously that is a killer…

Check in was horrible. Your front desk and door people were very rude to my crew members. Treated them like they were low class people. We are hardworking blue color people not low class people. The rooms were small and there was no actual beds. For the price we paid we should not have been put up in rooms with Murphy beds. Not a good experience at all.

We paid for a room with a mountain view but received a room with a view of construction. And they told us the complimentary lift closes at 4:50pm but the lift company wouldn’t allow us to go on at that time. As we were leaving the next day, we were not able to go on the lift over Big Sky.

We go to Big Sky every year, this year, it seemed like no one cared. Staff was unfriendly. Waitstaff had one mentality, get people out ASAP. We were told our room would be made up every other day... we never got service. We even called twice asking for just towels.. nothing.

The property is very well kept. The lifts are just a few steps away and ski valet service is very convenient. Mountain is awesome. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing is the variety of food. Food was good though we needed some more variety. In general we loved the place!

The property was great - our studio was huge, it was like a mini condo with full kitchen, double dink vanity, big soaker tub and walk in shower, not to mention a great view! The included breakfast was beyond wonderful and there is ski valet for your skis everyday!! Great value abs great trip

We love how close the hotel is to the chairlifts. And the indoor/outdoor hot tub and pool are superb! The attended ski storage is literally right out the door making coming and going a breeze without having to haul skis through the hotel. Make sure to ask for a mountain view room so you can watch the snowcats groom the hills and check out the weather firsthand on Lone Mountain.

The Summit is a prime location, ski in, ski out, plenty of dining/drinking options. Basically everything you could need or want for a ski/board trip. Service is top notch, staff is very responsive. Amenities are great & everything is maintained very well
