The decor is a little dated but the room was comfortable and the service was very friendly. We didnt use the pool but it looked very clean and well maintained.

Borrego Springs Resort is an older resort with two well maintained pools and jacuzzies. The beds are comfortable, and the towels are soft. The Arches restaurant located within the resort is convenient, has fair pricing, and has good food. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The State Park and sculptures are nearby. I'll be back!

Room was very nice...pool heated...I have slept on more comfortable bed..internet service needed improvement...bicycles supplied for customers needed attention...chain fell off at start of use...did not like shower head...maid service very accomodating

My first time staying here for an overnight "Desert Flower trip". Very nice resort only 5 min drive from town. Excellent service, beautiful pool area. My room was large with a patio. I really appreciated having both a mini fridge and a microwave in the room. The entire property had gorgeous views of the mountains and the restaurant was also excellent- awesome food and service. Will stay again.

Great pool/jacuzzi. Furniture dated. Clean. Needs a new mattress. Heavy menu at restaurant. Very helpful front desk man helped us with hiking trails.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The view from our patio was great and we enjoyed watching the beautiful sunrises. The staff were friendly and very helpful. This was my 4th stay here and we will definitely return again.

I do not like the resort fee. I would rather you charge more for the room and no resort fee. Also, because you are a "resort" the quality of your pool towels needs to improve to the level that you previously had.

Have visited Borrego Springs many times but had never stayed at this resort. It was quite nice. Had dinner twice and both times very good. Used the hot tub - perfect temperature. I highly recommend this place

When booking, and when looking at the pictures you provided, we thought we were going to be in a room where we would see either the sunset or sunrise right from our room or in the balcony area from our room. We get it that had we paid for a room that included this view, we could have it, but there was no indication that our room would have no view and would be dark and dingy. It was very disappointing. Also, we got no information about the pool or how we could access it. Having coffee available in the lobby in the morning was the only nice thing we could think of.

The lady at the front desk was very mean. I was traveling with my family and children. We reached the hotel at 1pm. The hotel was nearly empty when we reached there. So we were hoping to get an early check in, drop our luggage and head to the trails. The lady at the front desk said the check in time was 4 pm (the email I received said the check in was 3pm). She said our room is ready but if we want to check in before 4pm it would cost us an extra $30 as early check in fee. I am a frequent traveler and I have travelled extensively with my family for the last 20 years but never experienced early check in fee if my room is ready and the hotel is nearly empty. I can understand and I have paid a late check out fee but never heard of early check in fee when the room is ready and the hotel is nearly empty. Obviously I did not pay the extra $30. We left for the trail and returned after 4pm for checking into our room. The rooms in this hotel are dated with old furniture. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.There are better options available in this area and I will never stay again at this hotel.

We love coming here because the resort is pet-friendly and relaxing. During our most recent stay in a room with two queen beds, the mattresses were a little too firm for me (perhaps newer & not broken in yet; not sure.) As a side sleeper, it made it difficult to get comfortable, but it was manageable for a 2-night stay. The pool area is nice, on-property restaurant is convenient, and overall, we had a very nice stay.

We like our room, 2nd floor with balcony. The room is spacious for two queen beds. Has small fridge and coffee bar with microwave. The bathroom is roomy. However, the shower switch didn’t work quite right, the water couldn’t go all into shower head, a lot still came out from the lower facet. The watch sink stop didn’t work right, waste water drained slowly. The staff are friendly and great locations.

While this is not a four-star property, it was very clean. Our room had a renovated bath which was very well done. For the price it was an exceptional value.

Always love to stay here. Location is great. Away from traffic and noise. Beds were super comfortable!!! Restaurant on site is nice. Could improve on lighting in room. Not enough light for reading. One lightbulb was burned out . Also drinking alcohol in the hot tub should not be allowed. There was a group of four inebriated people who took over the hot tub , playing music and drinking. There were about 12 empty beer cans on the deck.!!

When you turn on the bathroom light, the exhaust fan also goes on and is very noisy. If you're on the first level, you hear every step from the guests on the second floor. Was told we could order food from their restaurant, but they never answered their phone in the morning or evening. The bed was hard and pillows were lumpy. The resort is pretty and has a nice pool area, but for the price we won't stay there again.

Nice hotel near many natural wonders, with a well maintained pool and hot tub under desert stars. Friendly staff and easy parking. Rooms are nice, clean, and ours included a balcony that was great for coffee and. greeting the day.

Perfect spot for a quiet get away, quiet because it is fairly remote and it was almost empty. The grounds are well maintained and the over all appearance is nice except it is sad that they are letting the golf course go back to nature. Our room was a good size and very clean but the bed was a little too firm for our liking. The restaurant and lounge were lovely. We chatted with the very friendly bar tender and some local residents who told us that this was their favorite happy hour spot in Borrego. As a side note-best onion rings we have ever tasted.
