There’s so much to say about this hotel experience. First, this hotel is in one of the best areas of Hamburg. It is located near shopping and walking and tours. It is only a five minute walk from the train station. The rooms are more than adequate and the hotel staff was very friendly. That being said, this was an extremely frustrating experience. We checked in and realized that our heating towel rack did not work and reported it right away. They seem concerned and promised Someone would come up and check on it. That never happened. We then reported it for the three days we stayed here. Nothing was done, and there was no concern about it from the staff. We were offered a free hot drink for our inconvenience. We decided to stay another night and we were told we could keep our room rather than moving everything we owned. 15 minutes later, they told us that would not be possible. It was extremely frustrating. During our stay, the elevators were non-functioning and we were on the third floor. Normally that’s not a problem but my husband suffers from Parkinson’s so it was a little bit difficult walking up and down the stairs for two days. Is lovely as this hotel but they nickel and dime you for everything. There is no shampoo or conditioner in the hotel rooms. There’s a note that they have these amenities at the front desk. They offer cookies and coffee in the lobby but everything has a cost to it. Based on the options in this town, this would not be our first choice.

Great for an overnight stay. Friendly and welcoming. they offer a soup plus bread and free salads for only 6EU in the evening- great if you can't be bothered to go out for dinner!

The location was perfect as it was close to the train station. A lot of room in the suite and nicely decorated. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The only thing that was slightly difficult was lifting the luggage up about 5 stairs to get into the hotel. However, I am sure if I asked for help, they would have! Excellent stay!

We loved the Henri! It’s in a great location for all things walkable in the city and old town. The staff was great, the hotel itself was so fun and cute, and the room was perfect and spacious for us. Great coffee machine, everything was clean. We would absolutely stay here again.

We were very pleased with our stay. Very convenient to Hamburg HBF. Staff very friendly and helpful. The only issue is construction on nearby properties but had minimal impact on our stay. I would not hesitate for a minute to stay here again.

This is a really good and cozy hotel in the city centre of Hamburg. The rooms and beds was really nice and comfortable. The bar area was extremely nice and "homely", you really felt comfortable there. Breakfast was amazing and the prices in the bar for beer and cocktails was really affordable. A great and different hotel, which is highly recommended.

It's walkable distance from Central Station and Townhall. A bit further are Altona and the Landingsbrucke area, but easily to get there via public transport. Staff was nice. Only issue we had was that the AC didn't work properly so it got a bit warm.

I really like HENRI Hotel in Hamburg downtown. Very welcoming and helpful reception staff who let me check in early so I could have a rest after a very early start. The room is very comfortable and clean and the bed was superb. Location is also perfect as you can walk from the central station in 5 minutes and get to what of the main pedestrian streets within 2 minutes so can only highly recommend.

Interesting boutique hotel. Because they were doing construction on front of building, from the outside it was unattractive. My room, first floor on the dark and somewhat dingy alley, where they were doing the construction, was not pleasant. Dark, directly facing an ugly wall of the building across the alley, banging and construction noise starting at 8:30am every morning. The room itself was pleasant, though. Good coffee machine ("Mini bar" is in the hotel lobby, though, which was a bit odd), good shower, comfortable bed.

Great hotel not too far to walk from the central station and close to all the shops and other entertainment. Our room was very spacious and very quiet looking over internal courtyard, perfect for us. Breakfast was delicious and the service was great too. Would happily go back.

Traditional old style hotel. Maybe cont great, not functional for your business trip. But very comfy relaxing atmosphere.

Really nice and different. Very friendly. Possibly need to do something about the wobbly TV stand and putting BBC World Service or other BBC channels on to the TV wouldn’t go a miss. Thanks!

Henri has a really cool feel about it - the decor is that sort of retro look, and it work very well. The rooms aren't huge, but perfectly comfortable. The shower is powerful and a good size. And the location is five minutes from the main Hamburg station and close to the shops and local sights.

Great location and incredible amenities. Loved the lobby bar and kitchen with food available all the time. Very homey feel but with high professionalism from staff. Would stay here again with no hesitation.

The Henri Hotel in downtown Hamburg is a gem. The hotel is decorated with a 50-60’s theme which makes it very cozy and warm. In addition the staff is marvelous. Friendly, hospitable and caring. The location of the hotel is excelente as it is close to shopping malls, restaurants and sightseeing. This is a place highly recomendable. We loved it!!

The hotel is located a short distance from the main train station, just off one of the main shopping street. The rooms are decorated in a retro fashion but with all modern amenities. There is a lovely lounge area with drinks and home made snacks available to purchase at reasonable prices.

Great staff, querky decorating, nice breakfast, good location, and decently priced.
