Very nice accommodations and close to Gainbridge where we attended a Pacers game that evening. The Yolk restaurant was a great breakfast place as well.

Overall it was great. Took a long time to check in, another line was moving MUCH faster so the issue seemed to be the person helping us. Had breakfast at Plat 99, also very slow. Ordered omelets and took almost half hour to get food. We still needed to check out & had someplace to be.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Every staff member we interacted with was very friendly. The location was excellent with many restaurants in walking distance. Overall very good stay. The only things that keep it from being 5-star are (1) extremely low water pressure; and (2) outrageously expensive parking.

Beds were uncomfortable. Could hear a lot of what was going on in the other rooms. Service was nice and location was convenient.

We stayed as a family at the Alexander while going through Indy. At a glance, we thought this little boutique hotel would be top-of-the-line, but don't be fooled by the lobby decor (as that seems to be the most up-to-date they've shelled out on). Immediately upon check in, we utilize the valet service. I will say, they were extremely helpful. We check in, and immediately I'm hit with how cold it is. Not only cold. But bone chilling so. Nonetheless, I just assume that it's not a huge deal, and we will get to our room and be comfortable. The decor team must have fallen short, as our room and the hallway leading up to it were incredibly dingy. Think gaudy 2000’s. As well as notable bumps and scratches on the wall. Nevertheless, it’s just decor. At this point I just want to get to my room. We do room service, and my order not only takes over an hour (a cocktail, and water), but they don’t bring my cocktail. I’m exhausted, I let it go, and go to bed. The next morning after an incredibly noisy night from both outside on the streets and inside others’ rooms, I’m getting ready for my event. Imagine my shock when I’m getting my bed ready, and the “duvet” is two sheets, sewn together. Inside of it is a very noticeably stained comforter. Lunch was ordered via room service by my friend. Not only does it take once again, over an hour, it’s so greasy it’s inedible. $70 worth of food, and it’s absolutely disgusting. Don’t trust this “boutique” hotel. It’s absolutely awful.
