Very nice accommodations and close to Gainbridge where we attended a Pacers game that evening. The Yolk restaurant was a great breakfast place as well.

Overall it was great. Took a long time to check in, another line was moving MUCH faster so the issue seemed to be the person helping us. Had breakfast at Plat 99, also very slow. Ordered omelets and took almost half hour to get food. We still needed to check out & had someplace to be.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Every staff member we interacted with was very friendly. The location was excellent with many restaurants in walking distance. Overall very good stay. The only things that keep it from being 5-star are (1) extremely low water pressure; and (2) outrageously expensive parking.

Nice quirky little place, friendly staff, great location (NCAA games at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, easy walk) Zero complaints!

Great for our March Madness experience

Beds were uncomfortable. Could hear a lot of what was going on in the other rooms. Service was nice and location was convenient.

Great location! Close to everything and was able to safely walk to our destination!

We stayed as a family at the Alexander while going through Indy. At a glance, we thought this little boutique hotel would be top-of-the-line, but don't be fooled by the lobby decor (as that seems to be the most up-to-date they've shelled out on).
Immediately upon check in, we utilize the valet service. I will say, they were extremely helpful. We check in, and immediately I'm hit with how cold it is. Not only cold. But bone chilling so. Nonetheless, I just assume that it's not a huge deal, and we will get to our room and be comfortable.
The decor team must have fallen short, as our room and the hallway leading up to it were incredibly dingy. Think gaudy 2000’s. As well as notable bumps and scratches on the wall.
Nevertheless, it’s just decor. At this point I just want to get to my room. We do room service, and my order not only takes over an hour (a cocktail, and water), but they don’t bring my cocktail. I’m exhausted, I let it go, and go to bed.
The next morning after an incredibly noisy night from both outside on the streets and inside others’ rooms, I’m getting ready for my event. Imagine my shock when I’m getting my bed ready, and the “duvet” is two sheets, sewn together. Inside of it is a very noticeably stained comforter.
Lunch was ordered via room service by my friend. Not only does it take once again, over an hour, it’s so greasy it’s inedible. $70 worth of food, and it’s absolutely disgusting.
Don’t trust this “boutique” hotel. It’s absolutely awful.

Amazing experience! Such a unique hotel.

We had a smooth easy check in after driving 5 hours to get there. We got to our room and were very surprised at the size and layout. The beautiful city view was amazing. We were so close to Lucas Oil Stadium that we could walk to our event.

We have used this hotel a few times. We prefer it because of its location. The only thing that irritates me is the darn toilet tissue holder. It constantly comes undone, and whoever designed those needs to be hit and hit hard, lol!! Seriously, it is just ridiculous. But other than that pet peeve, its a great hotel with friendly staff!

The hotel is very nice. The room was large, clean, and had a lot of nice features. The staff was very friendly, too. My only complaint is that the shower wasn’t very good.
I would definitely consider staying here again.

We haven’t stayed here in about 8 years. The lobby and hallways look very nice and high end. Our room, however was pretty worn down. The shower grout was dirty, nicks and scuffs on most of the furniture, the nightlight feature as well as the magnifying vanity mirror were broken and/or falling off the wall. The TV remote also wasn’t working. We were disappointed by the room, but the bed and pillows were comfortable.

I was disappointed ,the room door looked like it had been broken into. It Was paint drips on the floor it looked like it could of been a cheap motel very poor quality of work in the room I could’ve went to a cheaper hotel I will never return to 1 of your property for this to be a downtown hotel I wouldn’t never advise anyone to come to your establishments.

we enjoyed the stay. Wish there is complimentary breakfast taking that it expensive to stay there but it was nice overall.

Beautiful space, very clean, multiple options for restaurants. One complaint was an early check in charge. If a room is available when you arrive, there should not be a charge.

Briana, the person who checked me in was absolutely WONDERFUL!!!!!!

Everything was very clean, service was great, I would recommend this hotel the only thing was parking you have to pay for parking per day we ended up paying $70 for 2 nights.

Experiencing a lack of heat in the room made it uncomfortably cold. Despite initial attempts to fix the issue, it persisted. Subsequent calls promised assistance, but no one arrived. When I approached the front desk, the overnight manager was unable to resolve the problem or offer an alternative room.

Great benefit of a free beverage for One Key members. Highly recommend the property, great value and very artsy/pretty space.

I love the sophisticated art in this hotel.

The hotel is nice however there were some disappointments. First the food was not good. When I told the bar tender that it wasn’t good they agreed and took it off my bill because “the food is a problem here”. Breakfast was not any better. Totally bland and unseasoned. After the disappointing dinner I thought I would grab a sweet from the pantry. They had nothing of the sort. Only drinks, chips and some toiletries (but no deodorant which I needed). So, it’s like a bad avocado, pretty on the outside but rotten in the middle.

Only complaints were a hotel desk clerk with a less than stellar communication skills and attitude, and the toilet in our room wasn't properly cleaned, lifted lid and seat up, pretty scuzzy.

At the end of my stay we always peel all the sheets, cover, and bed spreads off to make sure they clean them. That's when we seen dark & light piss stains and what appear to be dry up blood stains. I took pictures and showed the receptionist and she said that they will be going thru renovations in April of 2024 and since I booked thru a 3rd party there was nothing directly she could do. She then gave me a couple of breakfast meals certs for my inconvenience. I understand things happen, but they should've pull that mattress off and replaced it. That's down right trifling. I have photos but i guess I need to take tgem when I fill this out cause it will not let me upload them.

Did not receive any of our Hotels.com status benefits. No one was as the check in when we arrived. Had to park offsite $40 a day no validation. Bathroom shower floor was very dirty.

Extremely helpful staff

Decent spot downtown. Stayed in two different rooms both of which were ok at best. Staff was great at the restaurant and bar, just don’t get your hopes up for a luxurious room no matter how much you pay. Have stayed at several other downtown Indy hotels and this one was mid pack. Much preferred the Hyatt House or Omni.

The walls were paper thin. You could hear noise from both inside and outside. I live in the city of Chicago, so I'm used to sounds, but this was so loud all night long. The showers were white originally but grey with dirt/mold now. Staff was nice but there were two of them - one front desk one in restaurant. Needed at least triple that.

The room was very clean & the interior of the hotel is beautiful. The only issue I had was the couple next to my room was having a disturbance. I tried calling the front desk from my room phone, but it did not work.

Location was fine. Lobby area nice. Very few options available for dinner. What we ordered was pre-made, hard & brown around the edges.
5.0
Nice hotel and employees were friendly & helpful.

It was close to everything. No carts for bags had to carry them from parking garage. You have to pay extra to park should be included with the price of the room. No microwave in the room.
