The exterior of this home offers under-house concrete parking, a private boardwalk to the sparkling sand, a private pool with outdoor kitchen, and an enclosed outdoor shower to greet you at the end of the day. A fish cleaning area is provided to prepare your fisherman’s catch. High ceilings with expansive sliding doors provide an abundance of light and gorgeous views of the Gulf. The open floor plan of the living space invites everyone together. The well-appointed kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and a breakfast bar with seating for three. The dining table seats six for coastal meals, board games, and puzzles. The cheerful living area features a TV and three sets of large sliding doors that provide direct access to the furnished and covered Gulf view deck with patio table. Beach gear credit is included with this home - book a stay and get your choice of kayaks, paddleboards, beach chairs and more. WHAT’S NEARBY This home is minutes to local shops, restaurants, nightlife, the multi-use path connecting the entire island, the St. George State Park and the Lighthouse Museum. The vibrant shopping, arts, and culinary scene of Apalachicola is just 25 minutes away by car. THINGS TO KNOW If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. 2 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD 75 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool heat for your stay. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The house has some problems and way over priced. We took it because it was only one not rented for the date. Blinds missing and others torn up, one of the toilets was filthy, the pool area has plants growing all over the deck and around the walkway to the pool.

My family stayed at Sea Watch in June 2021. The house is situated very well on the island, being a short distance from the town center with restaurants and shops, but far enough away that there were absolutely no crowds. We loved that the house was just steps from the ocean. The house was very clean in all rooms. We appreciated that there were multiple puzzles, games and books to use during our stay, plus there were VHS tapes and DVD’s. The washer and dryer held a large capacity which is great for all the beach towels, of which there were 8 or 10 available. There were two boogie boards and a skim board in the downstairs storage room plus a couple of beach chairs that seemed to be in good condition (we brought our own so we didn’t use). The ocean facing porch was used every day and provided wonderful views of the Gulf. The home had plenty of dishwasher detergent, trash bags, linens, pillows, and regular towels which was a plus. The only things that kept me from giving 5 stars was the fact that I know that the property recently changed ownership and there were a few things that should have been repaired or replaced when that happened. There were pet stains that had been cleaned but not removed on the carpets in two rooms, the oven/stove controls had completely rubbed off and you couldn’t tell how to cook your food on the stovetop. Also, the freezer door handle was loose and some of the cabinetry showed wear. There was no hairdryer provided in any of the 3 bathrooms, so you need to bring your own. We expected something a little more “laid back” on St. George but wished that these had not been issues. For context on my rating we are fortunate to stay in properties like Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton twice a year (when Covid isn’t an issue) and the perfection those companies tend to provide keep me from giving the five star status. Overall, it’s a great house, the management company was thorough and communicated well and we would definitely choose to stay at Sea Watch again. We can’t wait to go back! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

This house is great. It's exactly as advertised and shown in the pictures. The layout is ideal for two families (two king beds and two bunk rooms) plus a large, open, living, dining, and kitchen. The porch has a perfect view of the ocean and is well appointed w/ rockers, chairs, and tables. The beach couldn't be closer and only has a few stairs. We biked to "downtown" each day, and it was exactly a mile. I highly recommend.
