The Cardinal is a popular cabin in our resort. Its festive decor will brighten your day. We hope you enjoy your stay! The Cardinal is our only pet friendly cabin.

The Space:
Cardinal Cabin

Cardinal birds mate for life, which perhaps is why they are often viewed as expressing the harmony of life. They also frequently sing together—one bird trilling several phrases, which the other completes. In spring, the male conducts a courtship feeding, bringing his companion tidbits of food, their bills touching briefly as she accepts each offered morsel.

You and your significant other may also sing together about the Cardinal cabin as a temporary nesting site for two guests. A rocking chair for two invites you to relax on the porch. Inside, you can stretch out on the king-size bed or take advantage of the comfortable seating area.

The chefs among you will appreciate the kitchen area supplied with utensils, cookware, hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig beverage maker. There is also a dining table and chairs where you can offer your loved one tidbits of food.

Conveniently located to local area attractions, the cabin is only 15 minutes from Homestead Heritage Craft Village, Magnolia Silos, and Baylor University, just to name a few.

Majestic oak trees provide a restful, sun dappled environment for your stay. Our rural location is peacefully removed from adjacent commercial clutter and noise, yet is only minutes from interstate access and shopping.

The Cardinal cabin offers ground-level entry with no steps or stairs. Additional features include king-size bed and private entrance. This cabin accommodates two guests with its comfy king-size bed. The spaciousness of the combined living and sleeping quarters allows for easy mobility around the room. The chefs among you will appreciate the kitchen area supplied with utensils, cookware, hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig beverage maker.

There is a fishing pond in the center of the property that is stocked with largemouth bass and sunfish. It is catch and release only right now. We also have a double pickle ball court on site.
