The owner of the house was so kind and let me feel as a second house there. I was tired because of my short and packed travel plans, and the owner gave me camomile and cookies. I spent a day at there and there was a TV! I felt comfortable with it.

I'm not sure if it was a mistake or not, but I didn't receive the key for my room. I think it is unusual. When I realized that, the time was already midnight and owner was sleeping. I'm afraid of stealing, but fortunately, I worried about nothing.

The property cancelled by booking as inadvertently the credit card provided while booking dint work and they cancelled before my arrival at the property. I had to look for another property as a walk in client in the midnight.

I was not in receipt of email messages regarding credit card issue as I was in travel to destination city and my bus got late by 2 and a half hour (GreyHound) and when I reached at the terminal and checked my email and found to my surprise that my booking has been cancelled.

Very close to Newark airport; staff very friendly and helpful.

location is Newark, which isn't safe for walking about - but as it is booked for an overnight from a late flight or for an early departure - and as the staff offer airport pick up, this doesn't matter.

A great little find, you'll find a self-contained room within a house where the owner lives, don't let this put you off, she was a fantastic host, greeted us on arrival, and showed us our room. Keys provided for in and out access as we needed 24-7. The room was of a high standard with a lot of attention to detail and extras. Ours also included a private balcony and there was complimentary coffee and tea as well.as free fruit and cereal etc. Only a short 15 minutes drive to Harrison from the property (Red Bull Arena) and you can hop on a short train ride to the World Trade Center in Manhattan.

Dayton Dream has an excellent location close to Newark Airport if you’re just in transit like I was. The owner was there greeting upon arrival and showed me the room, bathroom and as an unexpected add on the coffee/tea corner, where they also had a fridge stocked with fresh fruits of the season, some butter and cream cheese for the biscuits etc. It was clean and quiet and I had a good night’s sleep.

Nothing not to like for an overnight in transit so to say. I’ll definitely stay there again.

It got really hot in the room after midnight as if the air was turned off .. the wonderful lady that runs it informed me that the other person who rented a room and arrived at midnight turned the heat up for the whole house on the thermostat out in the hallway … I recommended that she get a lock for it but this was the only downside

There was always food available for guests, not only in the morning, but at all times. Fresh fruit, bread, spreads, coffee and tea,... The location was superb, really close to the airport and the bus/train station.

Nothing comes to my mind, really, it totally exceeded my expectations. Nice bed, nice towels, wide space, beautiful terrace, everything very clean. One of the best places I've been. Outstanding quality/price

This area has a heavy homeless population. To go for a walk you need to drive to a better area.

Spotlessly clean place. I’m European so no shoes in an American apartment was a nice surprise for me. Also the shower head and tap was absolutely European, you could adjust the water flow. The lady was a doll. I forgot to pay in advance but she was so flexible, I could pay in cash in the property. There were hand sanitizers everywhere in the house. Also had a little tea kitchen in the hallway with mini treats, apples, coffee.
