Dubrovnik is also ideal as a base for exploring further afield with numerous day trips available. A two-hour drive will take you to the UNESCO protected town of Kotor in Montenegro or north to Mostar in Bosnia Herzegovina. Visit the stunning waterfall at Kravice on the Trebizat River and the historic town of Mostar.
