This private slice of paradise boasts a large, beautifully landscaped yard teeming with everything you need to take advantage of the home's lakefront location, including a private pier, floating swim platform, boat launch, and wood-burning firepit. A covered hot tub is ready for soothing soaking sessions and the sunny upper deck comes complete with a gas grill, covered dining table, and lounge chairs for alfresco meals and relaxation. Anchored by a central fireplace, the magnificent great room sets the stage for casual downtime with soaring pine ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and plush seating, plus a smart TV for added entertainment. The sparkling full kitchen comes equipped for gourmet meal inspiration with a deluxe suite of stainless steel appliances, cookware, and accessories. There's seating at the dining table and the breakfast bar for on-the-go snacking and pre-dinner hors d'oeuvres. The lower-level living area comes furnished for happy hour entertainment with a Ping-Pong table, fireplace, large sectional, and another smart TV. A full-size fridge and wet bar are also equipped for added convenience. Home essentials include free WiFi and a private washer/dryer. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Parties and events are not allowed. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Security camera details: Ring-light door bell at entry- Sound -On Camera on upper garage facing parking lot/ garage- No sound but on Camera Inside upper garage- (NO GUEST ACCESS)- On/ No sound Camera on side upper garage facing parking- ON/ no sound Camera facing back yard- Turned off during rental season/ Batteries removed by staff Garage- Camera placed facing owner's personal Car that is parked inside Dock details: Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Genuine, honest review. We traveled to the area from out of state and were not familiar with the area (first visit to Maine). Upon arrival there were two women there cleaning so we had to sit in the driveway for 20+ minutes. Upon entry and by reading the owners notes in the welcome binder, it is a beautiful home with great owners. Unfortunately, it is not being maintained properly. Here is what we immediately observed... 1) Door knob was falling off (my husband found a tool to fix it) 2) Many areas were dirty or not operational (dishwasher didn't work, pizza on floor when opening fridge, grill in very poor/dirty condition, stove filthy with dirty pan inside, blind in dining area falling off (husband repaired), hot tub had dirty film on top so we did not use, lights out (husband found bulbs and replaced), lamp shade in living room broken/hanging off, wood fireplace area very dirty with debris, hot tub seating area in disarray (thankfully I thought to take photos). 3) It was never disclosed that the dock was removed and all items are laying across the back yard (if we were made aware lake was not acceptable we would have rented elsewhere). 4) It was also never disclosed that there are numerous cameras (as per VRBO's policy). We countered 4 (took photos) but I'm confident there are more (there are numerous electronic gadgets/wires throughout the home). 5) TV in master does not appear to work so we choose to sleep in the smaller guest room on the main level, which was not ideal (given how much we spent). We understand and respect that the owners nor Vacasa can control the weather but should more detail/disclosure been provided we would not have rented this home. While it is beautiful and it does appear the owners care about their home, there is a great lack of attention to detail. Unfortunately, we spent 2 days stuck in the house and ultimately left a day early. We've rented through VRBO numerous times throughout the country with great success so this was very disheartening. We're just going to chuck this up to "you win some, you lose some". We still plan to rent through VRBO again in the future but I think Maine was a one and done for us. We can only hope the next person has a better experience. *and just a side note, never rent a home with zero reviews..and be sure to do your homework!
