Everything.. great location, fantastic helpful staff, very comfortable bed and very clean facility. They ( the staff ) arranged all permits for my motorcycle trip , they helped with SIM card problems…. Very friendly group

I had a great stay at Lingzi. I was offered an upgrade by the manager. It is close to the market and I could easily reach the airtel shop, good breakfast places and other vital places. The hotel personal was friendly. Wifi was working. It was a nice surprise that netflix was streamed with more or less problems.
Negative: There were some loud room cleaning going on early in the morning. Doors could be more sound proof.

Good things about the hotel. Situated Bang at the centre of the market. Though I did not like it but for many people it would be an added attraction. The room number 301 which is a suite has good view of the mountains.
Coming to the cons
1. The rooms starting with 1 (101,102---)are simply hell hole.
2. So called second floor is bang on the top of the street absorbing carbon monoxide fumes from the road. The one on the back and on the side have pathetic views.
3. Only the rooms on the third floor are worth living.
4. Leh is the windy city and most of the hotel have balconies This does not have any.
5. This is a very old property with no lift and no parking space. They actually don't expect guest come with cars.
6. I think there are many other choices in the city today. The ratings are somehow misguiding.
