About this cottage rental
This Southwestern Modern Mountain Cottage welcomes you to the heart of Deer Creek Canyon 15 minutes from Red Rocks Amphitheater, 30 minutes to Denver, and just minutes from the nearest hiking/biking trails for the summer and easy access to I70 to hit the slopes during the winter months.
With countless updates and lots of love, we’ve been able to take what was once an abandoned house and turned it into a cozy home full of character tucked away in the peaceful foothills of the Rockies for others to experience and enjoy.

We cannot control what animals live nearby our property and decide to pay a visit nor when they do! Embrace them and treat them with love. :)

It was an easy drive to Red Rocks and we really appreciate being able to bring our dog. We enjoyed sitting outside on the various decks on three sides of the house. The kitchen was very nice, including the gas stove. Neither cell service company had coverage but the WiFi was great so we didn’t have any issues. We hope to stay again.

The cottage was just as advertised. Very nicely decorated, modern features and very comfortable. We truly enjoyed it.

The cabin was easy to find (you do lose service on the way), and decorated well and very clean. The 4 stars was for the yard…it looked like it hadn’t been maintained in quite awhile. The boards to the porch were soft in places. The wifi is spotty, we had to keep unplugging the tv to get it to reset and find the wifi.

Good: - Kitchen/Living/Dining has a nice layout and was well-equipped - Plenty of hot water - Nice appliances - Checkin/checkout was convenient - Beds/pillows were comfortable Bad: - French doors in living rm in disrepair. Pet door was falling apart and door was not sealed at the bottom - Cabinet in bathroom had faulty drawers that were broken. There was a wide variety of used toiletries in the cabinet below the sink. We had limited space to store our belongings. - Shower was very dirty. Hair and residue on shower surround - Grill was dirty and had rusted/damaged burners - Outside area was not lit at all. Outside lights present but would not work. We had to use our phones for lights to navigate the steps on the pathway. - Rear Deck was soft/rotten and did not feel safe to walk on - TV would not remain connected to WiFi. Phones connect and maintain connection fine. - Downstairs bedroom ac unit/opening was not sealed. Had approx 2” opening beside unit - Yard was in disrepair. Trash scattered on property, carport had tattered flag and random debris that was an eyesore Other reviews of 10/10 were NOT HONEST reviews. We would not recommend staying at this property until items are resolved.
