We hebben niet bij de Veitenhof maar bij de Berg’k’Hof een kamer gehad. Veitenhof is een beetje een verlaten plekje. Berg’k’Hof is van dezelfde eigenaar en heeft wel een restaurant wat altijd geopend is. Ligt ook mooier en faciliteiten zijn daar luxer.
Berg’k’hof is geweldig maar het is bij boeken niet altijd duidelijk waar je nu precies een kamer boekt. Goed opletten dus bij boeking.

Sehr schlechter Kundenservice. Ich habe eine Unterkunft zur Durchreise gesucht und leider erst nach der Buchung gesehen, dass die Unterkunft nur zu Fuß erreichbar ist.
Eine kostenlose Stornierung war aufgrund der Buchungsbedingungen ausgeschlossen.
Die Unterkunft war telefonisch nicht zu erreichen, null Kulanz bei der schriftlichen Bitte um kostenfreie Stornierung.
Wir haben dort aufgrund einsetzender Dunkelheit und Schlechtwetter nicht mehr anreisen übernachten können und und einen anderen Gasthof suchen müssen.

Wir wurden upgegradet zum BergKhof. Sehr schönes Doppelzimmer, wunderbares Frühstück. Tolle Lage zum Start einer Wandertour zum Wilden Kaiser.

Sehr schönes Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück und Abendessen. Sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Wirt. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen.

Very nice mountain facility, online reachable walking, but close to perfect "basecamp" for beautiful hikes to the "Koasatal" (Kaisertal), the valley between "Zahmer Kaiser " and "Wilder Kaiser", an impressive mountain massive overshadowing Kufstein.

The location and the views are simply breathtaking.
You need to walk about 40 minutes (with kids), but once there is is very much worth it.
We had a great room, clean sheets, very good beds.
We had one of the best breakfasts we ever had (maybe the view from the terrace also had a small contribution to it :P).
We totally recommend it, if you are able to get there by climbing some (300) stairs and walk about 1.5km.

Gorgeous location in the middle of nature. The clouds moving in was unreal. The hike from the parking lot down below is doable for those who lead an active life. The food was excellent and the breakfast divine. We had a three bed room on the corner next to the balcony. Watching the stars at night was breath taking. Staff was kind and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

The location was fantastic. The room was nice and big. The service was good.
We booked with Booking.com and found that the information that you have to walk half-way up the mountain to get to the hotel was very poorly indicated and we were therefore not aware of this. As a consequence we has not prepared our luggage for mountain walking or our arrival time. We therefore missing one night stay of the 2 night that we had booked and paid for.

Would do the walk over and over again for the view and the stay. The staff were also incredible! Some of the nicest people I have met in Europe

I had a really nice stay. PLEASE take into consideration you cannot reach the hotel by car, you have to go by foot. So don't overpack :P, because the walk to the hotel is quite a challenge, but it is definelity worth it! You have to walk upto the hill with your luggage and the first part is with a steep stairs. I'm quite active and hike alot, but still thought it was challenging. I felt very welcome and had a very pleasant stay. I really recommend the pizza, it were slices made from heaven! Breakfast contained fresh baked products and there was more than enough. I used the sauna, that is not in this hotel its self, but in a different building, you have to walk for about 20 minutes to reach it. It is free in the evening, it was quite busy when I went, but there was enough room.

Stefan found a room for us at the last minute when our other reservations didn’t work out. Overall, he works very hard to ensure your every need is met. Great experience in a mountain lodge!

Beautiful spot in the valley, we had a great stay before hiking the next day. Lots of nice touches and really friendly host. Had a delicious vegan pizza and they made an effort to have a vegan option for breakfast.

The property is in the mountains and have an amazing scenery with sauna included(for free from 6-9PM) and breakfast
you need to go hiking (with stairs) like 35 minutes

I needed to walk (hiking) 35 min and don't was easy for me but it was nice to be in the nature !
