Head over to Hughlett Nature Preserve in Kilmarnock, a beautiful spot on the Chesapeake with trails and a wide open beach for walking. The flat is directly above a quiet wine bar and small plate restaurant with an outside patio called the Vine. It is well loved by locals and visitors alike, and is not a noisy bar. You may hear some muffled voices or laughter on the first level of the apartment, but we do provide sound machines. It is unlikely that you will hear anything at all from the second floor of the apartment as that is two floors up from the wine bar. Do check it out! The outdoor seating is especially nice in any season. Be sure to ask about our private chef, too. She can have a tray of charcuterie waiting for you, or hire her to cook for you in the flat and she will regale you with local stories. Ask her about the Lancaster Tavern ghost!
