Furnished with hotel quality linens, gourmet kitchen, Weber gas grill, *kayak, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas games and everything that you could need for a nice vacation. 1850 square feet living area with very open, airy, 10 foot high and 30 foot vaulted ceilings. Detached garages make court yard effect for 2 story screen room with small private pool (just for this unit); 2nd story deck off guest bedroom suite.
Directly across the street to private beach acess on the Atlantic Ocean. Walk down the street to a small private river access on the 2 mile wide Indian river lagoon.

2 miles in each direction to shopping village, great restaurants, post office
4 miles from big box stores and chain restaurants
This is a very quiet, residential, small town atmosphere with extremely low crime and no hi-rise hotels. Pictures include private beach and ocean view from MB Suite
non-shedding dogs will be considered but still require $500 refundable pet deposit to cover costs of removing any hair, odor or trace of the dog after tenant leaves.
Extra $100/person (per visit, not per night) for guests over 4 in the party.

Host/owner was very kind and took a genuine interest in trying to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The beach supplies were greatly appreciated. We did note that there was still alot of personal supplies in the rental, which could be cleared out to have a cleaner, more organized effect. But overall, it was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

Great beach getaway with perfect indoor options when you want to beat the heat

Location is very close to beach. House has 2 bedrooms and a loft with futon and couch-foldout. 2 and 1/2 bath.
First floor, kitchen is well stocked with modern appliances. Couches are old and worn, with stuffing missing in arms and cushions are flat. Lots of glass and marble, not recommended for small children.
Second floor, two bedrooms each with bath. Master bedroom has jacuzzi tub, but takes 30-40
Minutes to fill. Comfortable bed. Tv was malfunctioning, but owner fixed quickly.
Second bedroom has comfortable bed, strange sounds from vents kept people awake. Bathroom has weird leak that goes to kitchen on floor below if shower curtain is moved.
Loft floor, futon was very hard and uncomfortable. Couch bed was also uncomfortable. Loft was very hot compared to rest of house. Tv was very small and not even plugged in.
Small pool was great, but had no light. Very dark at night.
Beach equipment from ad was spread between garage of home and garage at owners property across the street. Had to ask for equipment from across the street everytime we needed it.
Beach access required a key to a small gate. Very difficult to get a beach cart up and down. Beach was nice.

Stayed in Melbourne Beach many times and love the area. This property was clean and well stocked. Please do not hesitate due to the "leafy" look. The greenery provides privacy and noise abatement from A1A. Host communicated very well and was truly committed to a wonderful stay for us.
