We had the best stay we ever had in our 7 yrs of staying in VRBO and other app properties. The house is absolutely gorgeous and amazing. Everything you need for your stay is here. It’s a great and beautiful location. Listing is accurate. We usually travel with our entire kitchen tools/pots/pans/etc, but this house had everything we needed to cook/bake/etc. lots of herbs/spices available, too. 2 coffee pots with beans/grounds and filters available. Bedding and blankets were very nice. Towels and bathroom items were very nice quality. Each bathroom had shampoo/conditioner/soap. We brought our own, but good to know it’s available. There are games and puzzles. Downstairs is a full bar area with wine/drink fridge with all barware needed. Communication with host and property manager was excellent and quick. We saw many deer and they get rather close to the house. They had a snow plow scheduled for our stay and the property manager family came by to salt the walk areas. They were very sweet, and offered even on Christmas, when they were going to be out of town, for us to call if there were any issues and they have people in town to help. Also, they decorated the house for Christmas for us. It was perfect. Would 10/10 recommend staying here.

In the 80s and 90s, our family owned a home in Angel Fire and spent many vacations enjoying everything the area has to offer. Fast forward to July 2023, and we decided to return to the place that held so many fun memories. We chose to stay at this Mountainside Escape and could not have been more pleased. Just a short driving distance to the country club and golf, the main mountain and chairlifts, walking distance to the lake and some fun hikes—the location could not have been better. Being higher up on the mountain, the abundance of wildlife near the house was extraordinary. It was nothing like we’d ever seen in our many years of visiting. We fly fished, played disc golf, hiked, played real golf, ate at some great local restaurants, and also enjoyed some rest and relaxation. The house was absolutely perfect for our family getaway, and we’ll definitely be returning.

This property is simply amazing! The views are gorgeous, and the home was spotless! The location was PERFECT for skiing in Angel Fire and just a quick trip to Red River. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day skiing. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything and everything you could need. This home was the PERFECT place for our family of seven. Denice was a gracious host and responded almost immediately if we needed anything. She even had snacks waiting for us when we arrived! If you are looking for a place to stay in Angel Fire this is the place! You will not be disappointed!
