Miss Phinie's cottage is a cozy, historical cottage oozing with old world charm and nestled in the heart of the Old Arabi Historic district. Just 3 miles from the French Quarter, we are in a safe and family friendly area just 3 blocks from the Mississippi River. We have beautiful views of the city from the river as well as a good selection of local restaurants and bars, some in walking distances. For those that prefer to bike, we have bikes available so you can cruise the neighborhood! We also have a new neighborhood dog park just right around the corner for all the furry friends!

This house was just as described everything was clean and there was enough of everything to accommodate me & my friends the host was very nice as well an asked if we needed anything to let her know this was my first time renting out a house in new Orleans but I will definitely book again

This was not ny first trip to NOLA, but this was my first booking with vrbo and I made the best decision. This cottage style house was perfect for my weeknd family getaway. The cottage was clean, beds were very comfy, plenty of pillows, towels, i cant think of anything that we didnt have. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Ally was very responsive, I even got to meet her and the family (very nice ). i would def book again. another plus was a drive way.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously! The cottage was quaint, quiet and suited all our needs for our 3-night stay. Ally and Johnny are so very nice. They responded to our inquiries within 30 minutes..even arriving within 15 minutes after we texted for assistance twice-once when we didn't follow the instructions on how to use the keypad AND again to unlock the door when we accidentally locked ourselves out. They even surprised us with a delicious breakfast sandwich our first morning there. They provided us clear and concise instructions within their helpful guide as well as awesome recommendations for food and shopping! The beds are very comfortable as well as the living room. The neighborhood was super quiet; in fact, I think there were fewer than 10 cars that traveled on the street the entire time we were there...no noise whatsoever from the neighbors at all. And the fact that it was pet friendly was the icing on the cake for us, especially considering that most of the rental properties we reviewed were not. I would highly recommend this property, particularly if you want to just get away and relax.

This little house was perfect for 3 adults and one dog! Our dog especially loved the front yard and morning walks around the safe neighborhood. Super close to the French Quarter and all the attractions you want to see. A perfect little get away place!

Charming older home in a lovingly restored neighborhood. We enjoyed the rental with its comfortable beds and cozy home feel. Will stay again next time I am in town. Thanks for being such a great host Ally.

Cute little house with fenced yard, which made a big difference to our dog. The neighborhood is transitional but I felt safe walking the dog in it. To arrive at the World War II museum in New Orleans, plan on a 20 minute drive (depending on traffic) and about the same for City Park and its museums.

Great place to stay. Property is very clean, nicely decorated in a quiet neighbourhood. Loved the fenced yard for our dog and also the 5 min walk to the river. Ally is a great host. We really enjoyed our stay!!
