This incredible castle we call the Queen's Quarters is your gateway to experiencing America’s Paradise. You will love this fully remodeled 200 year old castle in the heart of Downtown St Thomas Charlotte Amalie. We have 5 totally private units within the castle, each with their own entrance and customized for all types of international travelers. This Castle was once built by General Santa Anna in the 1800's and we have spent the time to make it a traveler's dream with high-speed Wifi in each villa, new plumbing and electric, super clean and fresh. This location is the ideal spot to walk around Charlotte Amalie and enjoy the Cosmopolitan atmosphere, brimming with Danish colonial architecture, duty-free shops, and cultural landmarks. It is ideal for travelers that want to experience everything St. Thomas has to offer being centrally located in the Historic Downtown District just 2 miles from the airport, and a few blocks to the cruise terminals and ferry services. You are only 3 miles from one of the best beaches in the world, Magens Bay. Take a quick drive to Red Hook and get on the Car Ferry to head over to St John for the day and experience the small island paradise with pristine beaches, incredible shopping, amazing foods and everything you dream about for your Island getaway. *Note: There is an 8% penalty for cancellation at any time. SAFETY FIRST: We follow a five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on a cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts. Here are a few highlights: * We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob * We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and we wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination * We refer to cleaning checklists to thoroughly clean each room * We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay * We comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines HOUSE RULES 1. All Communication must be through the chat feature on the app. 2. Due to a health hazard to the owners and others who manage this property, this property is not Pet Friendly. DO NOT bring any type of animal 3. Primary Guests must be 21 years of age or older to rent this property. 4. NO PARTIES ALLOWED. Any guest that has a will be asked to leave without a refund. ANY Parties will result in a minimum fine of $500. 5. Absolutely NO SMOKING is allowed on the property including Vapes, Marijuana, and Tobacco. Smoking will result in a $250 fine. 6. Quiet time from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am (even on weekends, no loud music or any loud noise during quiet time) 7. Checkout is at 10:00 am. Check-In Time 3:00 PM 8. There is a lost key fee of $50 for any key that's lost and not recoverable. 9. No Refunds on reservations canceled due to a violation of our House Rules REPAIRS: We do our best to provide each guest with the best vacation experience possible. However, just like in your home back home, sometimes issues might occur that require attention. Some issues do not interrupt nor disturb your stay and can be dealt with once your vacation is over. Other issues will require immediate attention and must be reported as soon as they occur. The time to report them is NOT upon or after checkout of a multiple-night stay as there will be no compensation in those instances because we will consider them livable according to your standards. If you are experiencing a stay-altering issue with the property, we will get you moved to a different location immediately. Clear and Concise Communication is paramount. Checkout Instructions: Thank you for staying at our Vacation Rental. Before you go, we have a few things we ask you to do: 1. When you leave, lock the door and return the key to the lockbox. Don't forget to scramble the code and close the cover to help us protect the box. 2. The checkout time is at 10 AM. Please be courteous and be out by then so housekeeping can get started. 3. Be sure to check under the bed for any belongings you might have left behind, and log out of your Netflix or any other streaming services you may have used. 4. Turn off all overhead lights and set the A/C thermostat to 77 degrees. 5. Please strip any beds that were slept in and leave the bedsheets on the floor at the foot of the bed. 6. This review would be way too long. Suffice to say things did not go excellently. The check in process was never communicated to me and I had to go stay in a hotel as I could not access the property. I finally was able to get in after the manager gave me the unit number and the lockbox code. The unit was fine, but some little things could have been better; 1. There was no hot water 2. No toilet paper was available that I could find, nor soap for the shower, so I went out an purchased both. The neighbor hood is pretty sketchy. I am glad my wife was not with me as she would not stay here. There were people out on the street at all hours. I was glad the outside door had a big lock on it.
