The pros... The property is very nice, indeed. The pictures do them justice. The pool was a nice surprise. It is about 5 feet deep, clean, and room temperature perfect for this very hot climate town. The street where the property is located is in one of the nicest streets and not invaded by loud and aggressive street vendors. The Cons... Unfortunately, the owner or person in charge of this property is failing to disclose the ongoing major building construction adjacent to this property with constant drilling, hammering, and loud noise by about 10 construction workers. We reported the issue to the host within 45 minutes after checking in around 2PM. And we were told by the host that he was handling it and the noise should stop soon. But construction noise never stopped until the workers were done for the day. Construction noise resumed in the morning of the following day. And once again, the host gave us the same response, but resolution never came. Overall, 5 adults had to endure this bad situation for the three days we stayed at this property. As a result, we couldn’t even enjoy the very nice rooftop terrace due to the noise and construction dust. The other situation the 5 of us were not happy about was the weak internet connection. The Wi-Fi router is located close to the ceiling by the entrance (second gate). Only the first room and the small room upstairs by the entrance get Wi-Fi connection. And host communicates with his guests by email only even after checking in.

The place was impressive! And cancion was nothing short of amazing! Our host Fernando was very gracious.. my family and i would definitely come back! Thank you cartagenga for an amazing trip!

great location

The only thing I was not aware of was the on site butler who demanded more cash from my aging mother and her companion. I wished I had known this in advance. Otherwise very nice property and excellent location within the walled city.
