I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Cowboy Cabin near Palo Duro Canyon. The location is perfect—just outside of Amarillo, so it’s not a far drive, but it is surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. The cabin itself is huge, incredibly comfortable, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. I was especially happy with the fully equipped kitchen, which even featured a massive refrigerator and freezer. There was a washing machine and tumble dryer as well. The property offers so much peace and quiet, and it feels very private. Some of my favorite moments were watching the horses on the property and taking in the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. If you are looking for a relaxing escape near Palo Duro Canyon, I highly recommend the Cowboy Cabin!

The location could not be beat, such an amazing ranch. The retired cowboy that greeted me, helped with some issues and checked up on me was one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to meet. The spot was perfect for visiting Palo Duro Canyon and the hosts were responsive.
Well there were internet issues, but since we were not there to work - who cares. And I am sure they are fixed by now. Other than that, nothing not to like. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and the house overall.

Like home away from home, stunning location, very peaceful. Owner was lovely and inviting. Would 100% recommend for a more rural/ countryside experience
