We've stayed in the cottage during the mid-September weekend. Our feelings about this place are mixed, and can be summarized: nice house, but poorly maintained. The good: Spacious, cozy, well-equipped house in good quiet location, relatively close to tourist attractions in the area. The house's gem is a sunroofed "solarium" dining area which is a pleasant place to have a family dinner. The backyard and firepit are beatiful and inviting for night conversations and outdoor parties. New appliances and TV sets add significant comfort to your stay. The bad: Poor cleaning quality - Upon our arrival, the pet fur was all over the 1st floor, inluding couches and blankets in the bedroom. Some furniture was broken, particularly one of the kichen cabinets door, stucked sliding toilet door and safety barrier on the bunked bed. Seems that the staff doesn't really check it before guest's check-in. The big ceiling fan in the living room was not working: all the heat from the gas fireplace went upstairs and the 1st floor remained unheated. The queen matress in the 2nd floor bedroom is in really bad condition and requires immediate replacement. The cottage claims 11 sleeps. However 11th place is a convertible couch and they don't provide a linen set for it. There is no telescope as advertised in the 1st floor bedroom. The piano is just a piece of old broken furniture and completely unplayable: untuned with some keys malfunctioning. Hope that the maintaining company will fix these issues
