the reservation did not take place ... the only positive aspect was that the host found us another location for same period and price ... but not exactly the same quality

the reservation did not take place ... in the week when the reservation should have started we were announced that the host made a double booking for our period ... they said it was a mistake not checking Booking reservations and doing another direct reservation for same period ... I say they knew exactly what they were doing, ignoring our reservation made and paid couple of months in advance in order to accomodate other guests that made a longer time reservation ( we did it for the weekend, the other group did it for a whole week according to the host )
