Great location in city centre pedestrian zone, walking distance to old town area, museums, shops, restaurants, cafes.
Renovation next door, not owners fault; a city’s always changing. Not an issue as was only during daytime.

Apartment Passage Inn is centrally located in a quiet pedestrian area on the inlet of an alley. There is a small grocery store just around the corner and many cafes and shops to choose from. All of sights are within a 10-15 minute walk, which was lovely to come back and take a break in the afternoon and relax in the AC. I traveled solo and felt completely safe throughout my stay there as the apartment is secure behind two gates. Sandra, the owner:manager, is very nice and communicated with me to make sure I arrived safely (even late into the night). The amenities were wonderful, a definite home away from home. Washer, couch, TV, AC, kitchen with fridge, WiFi, adequate lighting. I saw the location of other hotels and I was so glad I chose to stay at this apartment due to its proximity to attractions and conveniences.
I’ll definitely be staying here again when I return!
Tip: I arrived at night due to delayed flights. Once you come in the gate there are light switches on the wall next to the stairs. The apartment is on the 1st floor (maybe 15 or so steps to walk up but easy)
Tip 2. Cognito coffee shop just down the alley and to the left is a nice quiet place to grab a cup and relax while you plan your day. Dinner at Batak was wonderful.
Tip 3: Bring your own travel size shampoo and soaps. You can get some at the grocery store KonZum right before her apartment. She does provide laundry soap.
Tip 4: The AC was wonderful and keeps the apartment cool and there are windows for when the nights are cool enough. However, you might want to bring a travel size fan for the bedroom if you’re one that needs air blown in them. The ac is in the living room separated from the bedroom.
