Quiet, residential area, but only 20 minutes easy walk from Dubrovnik old town! Convenient supermarket at the end of the road on the way. Clean, well equipped, mattress very comfy. The lovely landlady is very attentive and happy to answer any questions, make sure everything is okay, and explain the flat's facilities in person A to Z.
Stairs. So many stairs. 2 very long and steep staircases from the bus station, and then when you finally arrive, you realise that the flat is on the 5th floor and there is no lift... Not great, if you have a suitcase. Having said that, such is Dubrovnik's geography, so not the owner's fault - just something to be aware of. If you want to avoid any stairs (except inside the block) when arriving at the bus station, make your way along Vukovarska ul down to Splitski Put ant then up ul Gabra Rajcevica, past Studenac Market and to ul Kneza Branimira. The inclines are very gentle. Allow about 40-45 mins for this walk.
