The neighbourhood is really tranquil, and the small neighbourhood road extends to a very peaceful rural area, that then becomes a forest with a dirt bike road, which is perfect for walking, trail running, or mountain biking anywhere up to 10km. The village is only minutes away by car, and there is ample parking near to the boulangerie / épicerie fine using either the time limited parking or the large free town carpark a block away. Several supermarkets and other stores are within a few minutes drive, and there's a decent Asian restaurant in town. The home has a perfectly equipped kitchen, good WiFi and Netflix, and the host was kind to leave enough coffee pods to keep us going for days. The outdoor hot tub was a welcome cap to each evening, and the garden area and private neighbourhood made it a very special place. The host was very repsonsive.

There is only one bathroom, which can cause a queue with more than two persons.
