The host was such an amazing person... she had given me a free upgraded room and had helped me out finding for an item I thought I had left back after departure.

The hostel is located less than 2 minutes from the main gate of the Chiang Mai old city, and is close to everything.
The hostel itself is very clean and neat, there are multiple toilets and showers on each floor (you can use them all), and they are very well built. Hot water flow was excellent.
The beds are super comfortable pod bed style, with the curtains on the upper beds giving excellent coverage (on the bottom bunks there is a pretty big gap near the top of the curtain).... There was a plug socket system, a light, and a shelf in the pod. There is also a fairly large locker in the room for each bed, but larger backpacks will struggle to fit in it....
The WiFi was fast and stable.
There is zero staff out of hours, and even during reception hours they are very low key.
The hostel had little to no social spaces, so it was very lonely and difficult to meet or interact with people...
The shower / toilets are practically in the room, with little to no insulation (most of the privacy is from a curtain), so your business can be heard by everyone in the room...
