The location of the apartment is great. It's in the center, and everything is easy to reach on foot, whether it's the train station, restaurants or the main attractions. The apartment is quiet and cozy.
Overall, we would rate our stay as fair.
My friend and I only stayed one night. The communication with the host was stressful. We were in the middle of a multi-day trip and didn't always have Wi-Fi, so we didn't understand why we had to send our IDs by email just to receive instructions on how to get into the apartment. It was a very stressful and unpleasant experience. I suggested that we would prefer to show our IDs in person to someone at the property rather than send photos, especially since Booking.com itself doesn't recommend this kind of request. In the end, the host contacted us on WhatsApp with the details, but I think this process could be simplified to create a less stressful experience for travelers.
The apt lacks some small things that would definitely be appreciated, such as paper towels, coffee and bathroom toiletries.
This is why we give 7 on booking.

Nice apartament, close to city center and main Bologna attractions. Very good communication withe owner. Place was clean.
Some small bits that can improve the overall experience: soap in the bathroom, maybe a coffee pod machine would be a nice touch.

Super kind host, great location, spatial room. Bed was comfortable and big enough as tall person 2+ meters
A small rack to dry clothes would have been easy

The location is close to the city center.
Washing machine.
Nice bathroom.
No parking spot unless you pay 2,90 euros per hour plus the access to the city centre which is 6 euros per day.
Coffee machine with no coffee or tea bags as a welcome gesture.
One big bath towel for three people and three small ones.
The air conditioner is right in front of the sofa in the living room so impossible to sleep with it on.
A lot of noise coming from outside and neighbours.
The cleaning man came way too early, 45 minutes before our checkout.
One light on the side of the bed was not working.
The pillows are very uncomfortable.
