This home was everything we had hoped it would be for our months stay in NOLA. The house oozes charm and is convenient to everything. Close enough to the French Quarter to make visits easy, yet far enough away so that we get have some quiet time. The restaurants in Algiers Point were great, as well. The home was well equipped for any of our needs. It is so cozy that it made us feel like home for our stay. Would definitely stay here again. .

We had such a wonderful stay at this home. The house had everything we needed with comfortable beds and plenty of space for our family of four. We loved the experience of staying in a shotgun style house. There were all sorts of bonuses too. We received tips for navigating around New Orleans during Mardi Gras season and there was fantastic local artwork throughout the house. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and spent lots of time at the little playground within easy walking distance (just a little past the very pleasant neighborhood library). We enjoyed our stroll to the ferry (only a few dollars - much less expensive than city parking) and took lots of walks on the levee. This was an amazing experience and Michelle was very easy to communicate with about everything. I hope some day we can make it back here again!

I stayed for a month and the home was perfect for my needs. Internet was fast, appliances all worked fine and there were plenty of plates, mugs, cooking pots and pans. All very clean. Highly recommend. Owner very responsive and gave instructions on how to get in, and how to check out. Had no problems or concerns throughout my stay.

We had a lovely stay in NOLA, in supreme comfort at the shotgun house. Beds were super comfy, and everything we needed was thoughtfully provided.

My spouse and I stayed for a month while visiting New Orleans for work. We really enjoyed our time at the house. It's nicely decorated and Michelle has provided all the amenities you need, from towels to kitchen appliances and cleaning supplies. There are also nice, new electronics and a great AC system. Michelle was very understanding about us bringing our dog, as well, which we really appreciated. She responded quickly to any questions we had. The house is in a cute neighborhood with friendly neighbors and easy parking. In the heat of July, walking to the ferry was a little too much for us, but it wasn't a problem. It's a two minute drive to the ferry, and there was always plenty of free parking close to the ferry terminal. The ferry ride is a quick five minute trip to Canal Street, which puts you right by the French Quarter as well as two street car lines. We had a great stay and highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed in Algiers for a 13 weeks travel nursing assignment. This house was perfect for what we needed and Michelle was easily accessible through text if we needed anything. The neighborhood was historic and really cool to walk through. The ferry to the French quarter was super close and made exploring across the river easy.
