Walk out your front door into Downtown Durham. Our newly renovated apartment sleeps six (2 queen beds, and 1 queen sleeper sofa). Enjoy our stunning hardwood floors, new kitchen, smart TV, tile shower, and much more. Every inch of this property will help you fall in love with Durham. Even the artwork was designed by a local Durham artist. Walk to Ponysaurus, the Durham Bulls stadium, DPAC, restaurants, shopping & much more. Just a short drive from Duke and Duke Hospital. The kitchen has beautiful countertops, stainless steal appliances, tile backsplash, and more. It opens to a spacious living room. Relax on our queen sized sleeper sofa as you watch a movie or read a book. The both bedrooms have queen sized beds. The bathroom, also recently updated, has a tile shower. A clothes washer and dryer are also in the unit for you. You will have full access to your apartment. This unit is on the top floor and has an incredible balcony view overlooking the city. You will love being in Downtown Durham. Walk to your favorite Durham locations: Ponysourus: 0.0 Bull City Burger: 0.6 miles Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) 0.7 The Parlor- ice cream 0.7 Durham Bulls Athletic Park: 0.8 miles Parker and Otis 1.2 Duke University East Campus: 1.8 miles Duke Hospital: 3.2 miles RDU Airport: 13.8 miles GETTING AROUND Scooter around town. Hop on a bus. Uber to dinner. There are many transportation options in the heart of the city. Additional rules · Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. · Parties: We do NOT allow parties. If you have a special event or gathering request, we will consider each request on a case-by-case basis. If there is evidence that a non-approved party/gathering has been thrown, you will be assessed an extra cleaning fee up to $500. · Overnight Guests: Please make sure you enter the accurate overnight guest count when booking. As you can imagine, when 1-2 people spend the night, the wear and tear on the house is far less than when additional guests are in the house. Although this property can sleep more than 2 guests, the base price is for 2 people. There is a $15 per night price increase for each additional guest staying in the house over 2 people (the exception is for infants under 12 months.) Putting in your accurate overnight guest numbers PRIOR to the booking will ensure you can see what the correct price will be for your stay. · Visitors: We are perfectly fine with you having family or friends visit you during your stay. If you are planning to have more than 2 visitors who will NOT be spending the night, please let us know. At no point can there be more people at the property than the maximum house capacity listed. (For example: if the house sleeps 8 and allows you to book for 8 people, then there can never be more than 8 people at the property – even if they are just visitors stopping by.) If this rule is not abided by, there will be a $40 fee per unapproved visitor. · Fire/Smoke: It is a property rule that there are to be no fires, candles, smoking or burning of any kind in the property. This does include not having any fires in the fireplace. We charge a $200 fee if there is any indication of any form of burning/smoke in the house. (This is for the safety of our guests and to protect the property.) · Excessive mess: If the property is left excessively dirty there will be a $200 fee for extra cleaning. - Late check-out fee: Late check-outs are allowed only if explicitly approved. If approved prior to arrival you can check-out as late as 11:00 a.m. with no charge. There is a $25 charge per hour if we extend anytime beyond 11:00 a.m. and the latest we can let someone checkout is 1:00 p.m. For day of late check-out requests, there is a $35 per hour charge. If not approved, there will be a $50 charge for a 30-minute late check-out. If the guest has not left the property after 2 hours they will be charged for a full additional day. This does not allow the guest to stay an additional night; it's a penalty fee. This extra day fee is without discounts. We will always go above and beyond for you. That said, if you have a complaint about any aspect of the property (amenities, cleanliness, etc.) upon sharing the complaint to us or VRBO you are authorizing us to come into the property to fix it. · There is a $100 fine for each unapproved pet. · Any house rules broken is grounds for immediate removal from the property without refund. This rental includes 3 apartments. If items are moved from one unit to another (silverware, furniture, etc.) there will be a $100 fee. Security cameras are located at the front door and back door of the building. Two ring cameras owned by us and four owned by the building owner. Recording at all times for safety.

We stayed six nights here while some work was being done on our house. This is a great property! Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Beds are very comfortable. Only thing different from listing is that the couch in the living room is not a sleeper sofa, it’s just a regular sofa. The apartment was clean with plenty of natural light during the day. Nicely decorated. Do not skip visiting Ponysaurus Brewery which is just around the corner - the pizza is phenomenal! Parking is plentiful; there’s a small gravel lot right next to the property as well as street parking. We enjoyed walking to the main downtown area (about a 10-15 min walk) and visiting some of our favorite Durham spots! Access to 147 is so close, which makes this apt very convenient to RTP area. Blake was a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had!

We were visiting my son at college, the home was clean, and comfortable. Great amenities in the home, well stocked kitchen. Location is perfect to walk to surrounding restaurants. Parking available. Contact with the host with easy, with fast response to any questions we had. We would stay here again when in Durham.

This place was awesome. So clean!! Great porch and it was so close to so many cute restaurants and bars. Beds were super comfy too!! I would definitely stay here again!!!

The location in downtown Durham can’t be beat. It is right next to a handful of restaurants/bars/distilleries which were fantastic, but also walking distance to the main downtown area of Durham. Also Duke was only a few miles away for a short commute. The only pitfall of the location was it was near train tracks, which at night did wake us up a couple times. This though I feel would happen anywhere you stay near downtown Durham, so not really too much of a negative for us, but they are there. The apartment itself was fantastic! The updates made it feel modern but still had classic original touches. It had plenty of space for my wife and I. Everything was provided in abundance in the kitchen, with plenty of silverware, utensils, dishware/etc for the stay, and was all very clean. The couch in the living room was comfy to chill and watch tv. The outdoor deck was great to relax and take in the views of downtown Durham. The bed we used in the back bedroom was comfy and the linens were great. There is onsite parking off to the side of the building which was nice. It was secure, having a building access separate from the apartment entrance, both secured by keypad access. All and all a great stay for us while were were in town looking for a new house. It made the stay the last thing we had to worry about while under the stress of trying to find a new home, which was very appreciated. If we ever need another stay in the Triangle area, this will be our first pick.

My husband and I had a blast staying at this property. It was very clean, convenient to many fun Durham spots and a great overall vibe! We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view. Thanks for a great stay!
