Welcome to this fantastic original beach shack nestled behind the dunes of Beach #1. The property is located on a quiet street within walking distance of both the patrolled beach and the shops of Venus Bay. Enjoy a BBQ meal on the deck overlooking the tea tree-covered dunes. Sit by the cosy wood fire in Winter or gather around the outdoor fire drum. The property has two comfortable internal bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and separate toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, and an open-plan dining and lounge area with wood heater and split-system heating and cooling. The property also features an external bungalow containing a double bed, sofa bed and single bunk bed, with heater and fan and separate bathroom. This is a great separate entertainment room for the kids, stocked with many board games and ample space. For the reasonably fit and surefooted guests, there is a private track from our back gate meandering through coastal vegetation to the beach. Following the seashell markers, this walk starts with a short, steep section that requires climbing over some tea tree and takes approximately 12 minutes over the sand dunes. Otherwise, there is a choice of two other more accessible public tracks within a short walk either side of the property. Pets are welcome and the property is fully fenced, however we do ask that pets remain outside the house. The wraparound veranda offers plenty of shelter for your furry friend. We are on tank water, like all of Venus Bay, so therefore ask you to please be mindful of water usage. There will be a starting supply of firewood at the property, which you are most welcome to use. If more wood is required, it can be purchased at the Venus Bay General Store. Please Note: There is NO Washing Machine provided at this property.
