The beds were comfortable and clean. The host was great at communicating the check in times and was very quick to sort out a problem with no batteries in the tv remote. Despite this being a dog friendly property, the carpets were dog hair free and mostly very clean.

Lots of things were broken or damaged, although we were told about these in advance it still effected our stay. The light in the bathroom would turn on and off, and the bathroom door stuck badly. In the corner of the living room there was a pile of cables, not idea when you have a toddler in the house. The high traffic areas had been cleaned, however it was hard to miss the dust, dirt and grime that was left in other areas- the shelf and plug sockets in the small bedroom, cobwebs near the headboard in the front bedroom, dirty finger prints on doors. The heating was on full when we arrived which made the smell of dog unbearable. As this is a dog friendly property I was expecting a slight smell, however the heating magnified this massively and was not necessary due to the warm weather we had during the day.
