Great location close to Cuc Phuong park entrance (about 1.5km walk), and a couple of decent restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
Chuc is very friendly and helpful (and proficient at Google translate) as there was space were able to get into our rooms at 8am after a 'sleeper' bus ride, so we could get a couple of hours extra sleep, and we could leave our stuff in our room after we checked out so we could go out for the day.
The pool was much needed in a very hot April.
Chuc also arranged for scooters to be brought to the hotel at a reasonable price.
Rooms were comfortable - big bed, good a/c.
Egg noodle breakfast was delicious.
Overall a lovely relaxing spot in the countryside.
Only one thing really - a couple of sun loungers by the pool would make relaxing there easier.
And maybe a fridge guests can use to keep a couple of beers cold.
And finally - a bedside lamp - though most homestays in Vietnam seem to lack these.

proper, grote kamer, ruim zwembad. vriendelijk personeel, google translate aangeraden. gelegen op wandelafstand van het enige degelijke resto en winkels. goede fietsen te huur. basic doch goed ontbijt. ongeveer 2km stappen tot ingang nat park.
