This two-story retreat enjoys a prime location on a private one-acre lot in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to everything. Long Sands Beach and York's Wild Kingdom and Amusement Park are located within a mile, while downtown York and York Short Sands Beach are located one and a half miles from home. The home enjoys a beautiful front yard with a firepit where you can gather with your loved ones for some storytelling while roasting s'mores or planning your next adventures. The front porch provides inviting seating and a nice spot to unwind outdoors. As you enter this darling home, you will notice gorgeous wooden accents and wood floors throughout most of the home, adding a delightful rustic touch. Enjoy cold winter days snuggling by the warmth of the pellet stove in the living room. A large sectional invites you to kick back and relax as you stream your favorite series and movies on the smart TV with cable and streaming services. There is also a Playstation, so don't hesitate to bring your own games too! You can also entertain your guests in the formal dining room, furnished with a beautiful large dining table that is perfect for family meals. The cook-friendly, well-equipped kitchen is appointed with all stainless steel appliances and a great island. From here, you can access the screened porch, which offers a fantastic spot to unwind, dine alfresco, and host summertime cookouts. All four bedrooms are located on the upper level for added privacy. THINGS TO KNOW If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. No more dogs are allowed. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Immediately upon entering the home, we were assaulted by the smell of cigarettes. There were mysterious bodily fluid splashes on the wall, ants in the sinks, and our feet turned black from walking barefoot. It was NOT worth the $$ whatsoever. Had we known the state of the home when booking, we never would have stayed.

Location was great, quiet and peaceful. Less than 15 minutes from the beach, Nubble Lighthouse, Kittery trading post and outlets, and Wells/Ogunquit. Tv remote was missing so there was no tv when it was time to relax at night, but we made up for it with the games downstairs. Also wish there was air conditioning on main floor as it got very hot and humid during our stay and opening all the windows did nothing but let in the humidity.

This house was perfect for our quick weekend getaway. The location was 15 min or less from everything. Sadly, we had rain everyday, but we were able to find several museums to entertain us and we actually spent an entire day in the basement playing ping pong, giant Jenga and cornhole. One thing to note is that the house does come with A/C, but it is only in two bedrooms. The other two bedrooms have fans. The first floor and the non A/C bedrooms did get a little hot and stuffy while we were there, but it was very rainy and very humid so we did not get much chance to see if opening up the windows would help.
