Villa La Digue is a delightful Algarve villa with 4-bedrooms and a large swimming pool, set in a quiet residential street. Within close walking distance to a variety of bars and restaurants and just a 5-minute drive from the beach, this fantastic villa is the perfect spot for your family holiday. The property has 3 bedrooms on the first floor (two with double beds and en-suite bathrooms and one with 2 single beds), as well as an additional bathroom. On the ground floor, you can find the remaining bedroom (with a double bed and en-suite bathroom), and an additional bathroom. The living room /dining room includes comfortable seating and a large dining table, ideal for family meals, and the kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking. Free Wi-Fi and air-conditioning are included at the property. Villa La Digue boasts a spacious outdoor patio with a large swimming pool and plenty of sunbeds on which to lounge around the pool, as well as an outdoor dining area ideal for al fresco meals. A table tennis table is on hand for additional entertainment on long summer nights. Parking for 6 cars is available within the property gates. A quality supermarket, pubs and restaurants, including one with 2 Michelin stars, as well as the Salgados Golf Course and nature reserve, with lagoon and pedestrian walkway (great for bird watching), are located within a short distance (5 min. by car). Other beautiful beaches like Gale, São Lourenço or São Rafael, just to name a few, are located within a short drive. The town of Guia, known for Piri-Piri chicken is just a 5-minute drive away and Albufeira is within a 10 minute drive. Just back from a week in this villa, it was fabulous. Better than the photos, plenty of room and spotlessly clean. outdoor area is just perfect, pool is big. Well equip, good wifi.

I chose this Villa as it is located in an area my husband and I know really well and have enjoyed several holidays here. The booking process was simple and we had great communication from Olivia and nearer the date from Karen too. Response time from both was excellent. We had a visit from Martin, the local rep the morning after we arrived to make sure we had settled in. The villa is located within easy walking distance to some fabulous restaurants, cocktail bars and the new Aldi in Val de Parra. I was sad to see that some of the smaller independent Portuguese supermarkets had closed since we last visited the area. Ubers are readily available and super cheap if you want to go further afield. For us this was a relaxing break. The pool is fabulous as is all of the extensive outside space including the terrace on the first floor from where we watched the sunset most evenings. The villa is large, beautifully furnished and has some quirky features. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning to this villa again.
