Nestled in Ketchum, this attractive house for $500 per night is a great choice for your next break. Location, location, location . . . and this great 3 bedroom/3 bathroom townhome in West Ketchum certainly has a fantastic location, just 3 blocks to the River Run base lodge and lifts of world-famous Bald Mountain . . . and just around the corner to accessing the Wood River Valley-wide bike path system . . . and just a block away from the pristine, free-flowing Bigwood River and its fantastic trout fishing . . . and an easy 10 minute walk to Central Ketchum and all of its fantastic shopping and dining . . . and just 1.5 miles to the historic Sun Valley Village, the first winter-wonderland for Hollywood stars of the 40's and 50's . . . and all of this is smack dab in the middle of Central Idaho with seemingly endless opportunities for wilderness adventure in its mountains and on its rivers and lakes for miles and miles and miles in all directions. Yes, this townhome is in the right spot, for sure, and that's a great spot to be for your Ketchum/Sun Valley vacation experience. This 3-level townhome is under new ownership as of spring of 2023 and the new owners have committed to making an already nice property significantly better and nicer for everyone's experience -- theirs when enjoying their own property and for their rental guests when visiting on vacation. Well appointed and equipped, very clean and well-maintained, fully-functioning and versatile, this townhome has a lot to offer many different types of travelers and groups. Let's start with bedding -- the property can sleep up to 8 people with lots of different bedding options . . . a king bed in the top floor master suite, an "Olympic" queen bed (larger than a normal queen bed) in the top floor guest master suite, 2 twin beds in the lowest level 3rd bedroom -- and these twin beds can be easily and effectively "bridged" into a quality king bed with all the appropriate king bedding prior to a guest arrival! -- and a highest-quality king-sized sofa sleeper in the living room with a real mattress and a platform -- not springs! -- so that you can actually expect to get a good night's sleep. So, lots of bed versatility that should appeal to all kinds of different travelers! And all of these beds have brand new, high-quality sheets as of spring 2023 and the twin beds have all brand new bedding . . . including all brand new king bedding for when those twins are "bridged" into a king. And as long as we're on the subject of new linens, let's not forget to mention that as of spring 2023, all of the towels in the property are high quality and brand new . . . and there are plenty of them. Nice! And what about amenities!?! A total of 4 TV's -- including 3 brand new wall-mount "smart" TV's for the living room, the master bedroom, and the guest master bedroom -- as well as another "smart" TV for the 3rd bedroom. The property has hi-speed internet and wi-fi throughout, of course, and with the TV's being "smart," you can access all of your favorite streaming accounts (but, the property does not have cable TV, what is quickly becoming a thing of the past with all of the great streaming services out there). And we have fireplaces -- 2 of them, both gas log, 1 in the living room and 1 in the master bedroom. When its cold out, the fireplaces and the gas forced air heat keep the property nice and cozy. And, when it is hot out, the property has A/C throughout to keep things cool and sleep well. And with more heat, the property has a private 6 person hot tub located at the backyard patio on the ground level set amongst a grove of aspen trees . . . operating year-round! And 2 balcony decks, 1 off of the dining area and another off of the living room, with the living room balcony having a table and chairs to relax on as well as a good-sized gas BBQ. Don't forget the in-unit clothes washer and dryer that is located on the lowest level in a laundry closet between the 3rd bedroom and the door to the exterior hot tub -- a full-sized stacked washer/dryer to keep it clean if you get dirty out in the hills. If you need to do some office-type work while on vacation, there is a dedicated computer desk and monitor and computer speakers in the guest master suite. And, yes, there is an attached 2 car garage, large enough for most vehicles (although not big enough for larger vehicles, so there is additional exterior parking for the townhome complex). Yes, lots to offer for amenities in this decked out townhome. And let's not forget about the kitchen that is at the center of it all on the main level between the living room and the dining area. Contemporary appliances -- including a gas cooktop -- and plenty of counter space and well-stocked cupboards and cabinets with lots of all of the good quality dishes and glasses and pots and pans and silverware and utensils that you would expect for a well-equipped Ketchum townhome. And, yes, that includes both a Keurig AND drip coffee makers! And, there is breakfast bar seating for 5 and just next door is a large dining table with seating for 8. Yes, plenty of opportunity for eating well while on vacation. Yes, indeed, this property has a bunch to offer and is sure to please for your vacation to Ketchum/Sun Valley! And, just a few reasonable "house rules" to keep everything on the up and up and for everyone's enjoyment, now and into the future: -- The property is strictly non-smoking (and not even allowed on the balcony, please, so if you must, please take a walk around the block) -- Pets are not allowed (as much as the owner's like pets, the HOA does not allow tenants nor guests to have pets, so we can't fudge on this one) -- The property sleeps a maximum of 8 people . . . and that includes adults and kids alike -- The property is appropriate for vacationing families and friends, but it is not intended for events like parties -- Please respect the property itself by treating it well and please respect your neighbors by being polite and considerate and without undue noise nor commotion -- And, be sure to have a great time while visiting Ketchum/Sun Valley! 'Nuff said for now. Plenty here to like and appreciate about this townhome that is definitely in the right place in West Ketchum, Sun Valley, Idaho!
