Spend your days paddling and splashing in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Anna. The firepit is a wonderful place to gather - bring your s'mores and get ready for some spooky storytelling! Immerse yourself in the nautical-themed décor as you step into this modern and stylish home. Stream favorite movies and shows on the large smart TV in the spacious living room, or break out any of the provided board games for an entertaining evening at home. The fully-equipped kitchen showcases sleek stainless steel appliances, making meal preparation a delight. Gather around the dining area and enjoy delicious meals with your loved ones, overlooking the stunning lake views. For those seeking indoor entertainment, our fabulous game room is sure to please. Challenge friends and family to a game of pool, air hockey, shuffleboard, ski ball, or foosball. Engage in nostalgic fun with the Pacman arcade game and the Star Wars electronic pinball machine. The private outdoor dining area is the perfect spot for alfresco meals. Enjoy your morning coffee or dine under the sun while soaking in the scenic views. Sleeping arrangements include two bedrooms on the lower level, two bedrooms on the main level, and one bedroom along with a loft on the upper level. The bedrooms on the lower level feature fun and unique themes; you will discover pirate-themed and coastal-themed bedrooms. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia LLC. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. No more dogs are allowed. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles. Dock details: This home has a private dock that guests can tie up their boats to. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

This property was everything we expected and more and a great place to celebrate Thanksgiving with the family. The only criticism I would give is the amount of light from the family room windows. During the day it got so hot from the sun beaming in. I would recommend the owner install remote shades. We were here in Thanksgiving and I can't imagine how hot it gets in the summer. The AC works great but then the other rooms are freezing. I would also recommend softer sheets and more cooking items (like mixing bowls, tupperware, etc..) in the kitchen.

Castaway Cove is the perfect place to relax and unwind. From the moment you drive up, its charm and beauty are evident. It is a brand new home that is immaculate and tastefully decorated, inside and out. It contains everything you could ever need for a fun getaway: a large, beautiful kitchen with plenty of seating, lots of areas to relax and hang out, comfy beds, an amazing game room, an awesome pirate room for the kids and a wonderful outdoor hot tub! The property is absolutely gorgeous with so many lakeside amenities-kayaks, paddle boats and a large dock. You will love your time at Castaway Cove! Ten stars!

We really enjoyed our stay at Castaway Cove. The home has a great layout, so it never felt crowded even with 16 people, including children. It was clean, beds were cozy and location was great. Access to the kayaks, paddle boards, and pedal boats was such a great perk, and the kids loved the game room. Only critique would be that there are not quite enough linens and the kitchenware could have been larger considering the occupancy allowance.

We were 4 families and the house has enough space for everyone! The beds were very comfortable, the kids room J’s so many games that even the adults loved it. I am coming back and I highly recommend this house. The renters/Vacasa was very helpful and quick responding to any questions we had. Thank you so much.

A beautiful house with lake access. We made wonderful memories with family and friends. The house was immaculate and very well appointed. It was everything we had hope for and so much more to celebrate our son’s birthday. Superb communication throughout the reservation process. We cannot wait to return!

I want to vacation in a place equally if not better than my own home and this definitely was a winner. I love that it had multiple larger beds, and the right amount of smaller beds for families with children. The rooms for kids were themed it was like being at a themed Disney resort. We were able to rent a boat and conveniently pick up the kids at the dock. The arcade downstairs was a hit to keep all ages entertained. Beds and linens comfortable and clean. The cleanliness was immaculate. Place looked and smelled brand new like fresh paint. Lots of places for gathering and the kayaks were a great amenity to have. The only feedback I have is that for a place as big as this, would have liked to see larger cookware for larger meals. The pots and pans were small like for a studio apartment and really delayed meal prepping in batches. Also some hand towels for the kitchen. Must bring your own toiletries and beach towels. House does provide linens and bath towel sets. The refrigerator is touch sensitive it’s a little glitchy to move from water to ice, and brief user handout would be helpful. Overall a great stay and would definitely book again.

We loved our stay at Castaway Cove. The house is so wonderfully decorated for a lake retreat. We love the dock, kayaks, paddle boards and the games on the first floor. We grilled each night and had a great stay. We will be back.
