Unfortunately, this was the worst accommodation experience I’ve had.

On the plus side, it was relatively clean, the location is good

It’s impossible to sleep in this apartment because of the street noise and the complete lack of air conditioning. The noise outside continued until about 4 am, and the whole time we simply couldn’t fall asleep. The listing is marketed as family-friendly, among other things, but it’s impossible to get a stroller up the stairs. I think this place could only suit people who want to party until morning and come home to sleep at 4 am while drunk, so they won’t notice the lack of air conditioning and ventilation. The property rules also mention fines for smoking and hosting parties. At first this made me happy, since it seemed to somehow guarantee peace and quiet. But I don’t understand the point of these fines, you can smell cigarette smoke from the café downstairs, and music and noise are audible all night long. We’re not a particularly picky family, but this really was a terrible experience.

Verwarming stond gloeiend heet tijdens hittegolf en was niet moeijk deze uit te zetten

Er was een gekend probleem met de centrale verwarming. Tijdens een hittegolf stond de verwarming gloeiend heet. Je kon deze zelfs niet aanraken omdat het zo warm was. Na contact op te nemen bleek het om een gekend probleem te gaan met de centrale verwarming en deze kon dus niet uitgeschakeld worden. Ik snap niet dat je een kamer verhuurd tijdens een hittegolf waarvan je weet dat de verwarming helemaal openstaat. Je werd gewoon instant misselijk van de extreme hitte. Naast de verwarming was het ook alles behalve een aangename locatie. Middenin verschillende vechtpartijen, geroep en getier op straat, bonzende muziek… Ik raad het niet aan tenzij je geen oog wil dichtdoen.

Arrivée autonome à l’aide d’un locker.

Localisé proche des bars, impossible de fermer l’œil avant 3h du matin car l’appartement est très mal isolé. De plus, la rue est actuellement en travaux ce qui est très bruyant et tôt le matin.
