Good service, clean and comfortable yurt & toilet/shower, good location.
The squat toilet could use some improvement on the smell, maybe it's the piping/plumbing I'm not sure but even after flushing twice before I even use the toilet, the smell is still there. The western toilet is all ok.

Very cool and friendly yurt camp close to both the beach (5 min) and Mars Canyon (3km). The traditional yurts are comfortable and set in a fascinating location in the middle of an old Soviet sanatorium. There is tunnel under the highway to reach the beach/lake and a paddleboard for guest use. Breakfast and dinner were excellent but you'll probably need to make other plans for lunch. It was easy to get dropped off by marshrutka from Karakol and Oleg was very helpful, especially arranging a taxi to take us to Bokonbayevo to catch a marshrutka back to Karakol.

This is a small scale camp of just 6 yurts, run by the couple Oleg and Jane. Very friendly and helpful, english speaking.
From the camp they can arrange a taxi for about 2500 som that brings you to the skazka canyon and back. The driver will wait according the time you want to spend therem i guess 1 hours is the minimum. They also can arrange an eagle show for 6000 som, you share the price because there are always more people interested.
For a swimm it is 5 minutes walking to the lake or you can use the sup board for freebreakfaat and dinner are very nice and tea or coffee are free. You can also use the fridge.
I was quite disappointed when i arrived there, because there are some terrible big russian buildings tou have to face before you reach the camp. But please don't let this stop you, because after that you will get a warm welcome by oleg and jane

Agat Yurt Camp was fantastic. Oleg was very helpful in communication leading up to our arrival, and we had a fantastic stay at the property.
The yurts are very comfy and spacious (and come with a heater if you're cold). The rest of property is just as great too. The eating area is such a fun, creative spot to hangout for meals, the beach is easily accessible with a short walk, and the shower facilities were fantastic with good pressure and hot water.
We ate dinner here as well, so both dinner (manti) and breakfast were delicious. Payment and check-out were smooth. Overall, this is a great spot for any traveler to break up their journey along the south of Issy-Kul and have a chance to hang by the water a bit!
