I absolutely fell in love with Croatia, Dubrovnik, and this wonderful apartment! It was one of our most enjoyable holidays, and so much of that was thanks to where we stayed. The apartment is located in a beautiful old house, in a wonderfully quiet and charming neighbourhood, just a 15-minute walk from Dubrovnik’s historic centre. Yet it feels completely removed from the noise and bustle of the tourist areas. Being on the upper floor makes it even more peaceful and private. And the views of the sea and Lokrum Island are simply magnificent! Every morning, we would throw open the windows and see which ships had arrived overnight and which had already sailed away. And every evening, we would fall asleep watching the little lights of ships twinkling on the dark sea. Such a simple but magical pleasure! The apartment itself is absolutely spotless, with modern bathroom fittings and everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. You can really feel how much love and care the owner puts into this place. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered: bed linen, beds beautifully made and ready for our arrival, kitchen utensils, travel guides - everything you might need. A very special thank you to our wonderful host! She was always happy to answer even my smallest and silliest questions and kindly arranged a taxi for us. As I was arriving late in the evening with two children, she had also thoughtfully left us something to eat so that we wouldn't go hungry after our journey. It's these little gestures of genuine kindness that make a stay so special. There is a gorgeous little beach in a picturesque cove nearby, reached by a pleasant walk along a quiet street. And the sea! I have never seen water quite so clear and beautiful. The first time I dived in, I genuinely felt as though I were swimming inside a big aquarium!

Amazing view. Great location close to a ton of bakeries, restaurants, and stores, which was fun. Lovely kitchen. Consistent hot water, which was nice. We could walk to different places including the old City/the wall.
