Bring your boat(s) and either trailer them in the huge driveway, or dock them in the free overnight slips at the quiet, private neighborhood boat ramp/marina down the street. Or rent a boat from one of the many marinas recommended in the guidebook I will send you after you book! This spectacular Possum Kingdom home is a timber frame, with beautiful exposed Douglas Fir post, trusses, and ceilings, giving a luxurious lake vibe. Fully furnished with a transitional modern design. Completely private home with amazing views of the lake. This is the perfect home for your lake trip with all the family and friends you can bring! The house is located in a new neighborhood which has a private marina with a boat ramp and 10 free day/night slips. Because we are one of the first few houses built in the development, the day slips and boat ramp are very quiet and empty with hardly any traffic at all. The Cabin is only a short boat ride or less than a mile drive to Hell's Gate, where the world-famous Red Bull cliff diving competition takes place each year, and boaters moor up to enjoy a day hanging out on the water. Enjoy biking, walking and jogging around the entire vicinity. Possum Kingdom General Store is just down the road near the neighborhood entrance if you need anything. The house is open concept with 2 separate living rooms, dining, and kitchen areas. Not to mention the large covered deck under beautiful timber frame trusses, and the patio with a pool, turf, and built in 5 burner grill. The living room has a built in fireplace/heater. On a hot summer day, take a dip in the pool or rent a boat from one of several options on the lake, or bring your own! Go tie up with other boats in Hell’s Gate, or anchor out in one of the many secluded coves. Also enjoy lounging under the shade on the back porch, or basking in the sun by the pool. Soak in this private escape to relax and get away. Enjoy the nature and abundant wildlife around including whitetail and axis deer, Aoudad sheep, and many others. Have a cup of coffee and watch the amazing sunrise over the lakeside cliffs from the expansive, comfy elevated deck. Lovely master suite with private access to the back deck. Includes an elegant bathroom with a double vanity, wet room, and soaking tub. One more queen bedroom on the main floor with a full bath just across the hall. The loft has a living room with great views out the back windows, and two more bedrooms with a shared large full bathroom. The bunk house has 3 sets of bunk beds, a full bathroom, and a game room with a ping pong table, 55” smart tv, a sound system, and bar height table seating. It also has access to the 1400 sq. ft. garage for any games and entertainment you’d like to bring. Free wifi with multiple routers for great speeds inside and out. Smart home with an Apple Home Hub, a wall mounted iPad to control lighting, window shades, and music by touch or voice control. Play music simultaneously in any area of the house, barn, or patio with whole home, indoor/outdoor audio through 10+ Sonos speakers throughout every room and outdoor space. Easily control the music through airplay from your phone or through the wall mounted iPad in the living room! 6 Roku smart TVs throughout the home, including an outdoor TV. We had a girls weekend at this beautiful house. We enjoyed seating in the pool/hot.It has the most amazing views of the lake. The owners were very responsive if we ever needed anything. We would definitely recommend staying here. We can’t wait to come back.
