It was very peaceful. Can Tho can be loud & busy, this was quiet and calm. Lots of young backpackers, great atmosphere. Food & drinks available! The owner was lovely, helpful & available. The tours they recommended were great with pick up & drop off at the hostel.

It's a simple, basic hostel, yet, toilet paper and shampoo are provided for all guests. The firm mattress was good for my back. It should be interesting for Westerners to see folks from the poor to the middle class living next to each other, and there's no crime or robbery. Are you vegetarian? There is a vegetarian restaurant about 800 meters away, very close to the "grape farm." There are other eateries and cafes close by. You can also take a bus to Lotte Mart, a large supermarket. The hostess is very hospitable and attentive.
In terms of location, it's outside the city center, which is exactly what I was looking for. So, it wasn't a drawback for me.

As a solo traveler, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The riverside location was peaceful and beautiful — the perfect spot to unwind and watch the local life float by.
The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made me feel safe and at home right away. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed.
I joined the Mekong Delta tour arranged by the host, and it was one of the highlights of my trip — authentic, well-paced, and full of hidden gems only locals would know.
The room was cozy, clean, and perfect for a solo guest like me. If you’re traveling alone and want both comfort and connection, this is the place to be.
Definitely coming back!
